I can see Morrowind being a rage game for Phil. There isn't going to be any objective markers and we all know Phil is going to skip reading everything, which is required in the quest to figure out where to go, so he's going to quit that one pretty quick.
Provided he takes it on as a full playthrough eventually, I really want to see him get to the Path of the Incarnate quest.
"Now I must find the Cavern of the Incarnate, a secret place sacred to Azura, and look for the moon and star of the prophecies. To find the Cavern of the Incarnate, I must solve a riddle: the eye of the needle lies in the teeth of the wind -- the mouth of the cave lies in the skin of the pearl -- the dream is the door and the star is the key. Sul-Matuul called this riddle 'Wisdom's Test,' and says take counsel of the wisdom of the tribes to find the way. "
Good luck kiddo.

Most likely he’ll just check a guide during break or get a lean in manual handhold from chat

I still dont understand why is Morrowwind in the list. How is playing an hour will make him rage? Makes no sense.

View attachment 906998
It'll take him the most part of the hour to make his character, pick skills etc. and get off the boat.

The first hour of most RPGs is make character > scripted event > follow major character to small village > kill a few wolves or spiders > make way to large city. And that's assuming you don't stop to lean over at the chat every 5 seconds.

Imo the games should be limited to troll games (IWBTG, Cat Mario etc.), or active online games he can hop on and do a few matches. Not a 100 hour RPG, congrats you did the tutorial cave and walked to Whiterun.

I honestly hope that no one appears in WoW to troll him. Imagine how hurt his ego would be if No One bothered. He is eagerly expecting hordes of 'trolls' to descend upon him. Hate to tell him, but he's not as 'white-hot popular' as he was back then. I think it would be glorious to watch him stare in disbelief if no one showed up. I know this won't happen. There will be more than enough folks from Tevin's stream there, all vying for Tevin to mention their antics on his re-stream and this will boost D$P's ego enough to allow him to maintain his belief that he's still relevant (unlike PewDiePie with his 100M+ YT subs and major media coverage of the "YT Royalty" Wedding ).

I hope people do showup, in fact, I will probably do it too. DSP needs to learn he is not allowed to learn mmos on stream.

The only way you could troll him in classic is just make a meme name, kill his mobs, or emote spam him. There aren't that many toys early on since people aren't even max level around the time he plays, so it will be bland.

People won't have time for that shit. They want to race to 60 and not waste time on him compared to before.

This event is going to be hilarious. One game he won't be able to play, one game he won't hardly even get started, two games he won't make any sufficient progress in before it's time to move on to the next, and Stritt Fitter. What the fuck is the point of a Rage-a-thon when you can stop playing the game you're on at any time and start something else at any point you want?

If he wanted real rage he'd tie switching games to donation levels, and I mean openly and not surreptitiously like he doubtlessly thinks he's doing, e.g. needing to maintain a set donation rate per hour to keep him playing whatever game he's on. That allows his fans and detractors to actively torture him.

What the fuck is the point of a Rage-a-thon
We all know why. Just another double dipping opportunity for each month of having a reason or goal for his dumbass fans to give him money, then to be swindled again for having to pay for the games, donate during said marathon, and to have a half-ass "prize" in the end.

Expecting about 3-4 more before the years over. We have what, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas? He probably has another curveball event in the works, or waiting for a "peepul want" suggestion.

He has no problem switching games if its a marathon. Since he takes his sweet fucking time hopping between his computer chair and his sofa. Multiply that by 5 games and that will take a good chunk out of his so called marathon that it almost seems like a normal day stream.
I wonder if he will get tipped like it was a normal streaming day for him then. Just like last year when he made 138 wheelchair bucks during this borefest.

TBH, he keeps doing these events that he clearly hates because they bring in stupid amounts of money. His Christmas one didn't do well, but don't forget that he got ~$1500 from each of the tax begging ones right before his secret marriage and got $2200 for that Jasper reveal. And in the case of the rage-a-thon, don't forget that he basically got a down payment in the form of the subs that were bought to "unlock" it.

I agree the marathons themselves are pretty much monthly down payments for him to stream an extra hour or two. Get his cuckolds an incentive to give him monthly subs, on TOP of also begging for tips, then the Bill-A-Thons as well.

Then it comes to his lazy ass marathons where he is also expected for the games to be paid AND played for(thanks twitch chat), receiving tips during them, and just going an extra hour or two during his normal day(because he will also include his pre-streams and multiple breaks).

So formula for each month now is: Sub goals, bill-a-thons, half-ass-athons, tip-a-thons, gimme-games-athons, and whatever bullshit he comes up with.

He is in such a better position paypig-wise this year compared to last. PlanetJeff doesn't have a wife to tell him "No don't give a man you're not fucking thousands of dollars" and he's got WingsofRedemption fans giving him $10 at a time to "troll" him with smelly chair memes.

High probability as it's the official first day the servers go live. Which brain dead idiot thinks it's a great idea to schedule this game on this day? Damn, his rage will have nothing to do with the game itself.

Prepare for trouble and make it double. Blizzard are a bunch of idiots.
Ahmah gahd, connection error.
Snort.
And lean in ban.
*Goatlaugh* Dat's right!

Edit: Nevermind, confused Tuesday and Thursday. I should take a thirst day on third days to find my middle.

dont worry buddy, im pretty sure the servers will still have some unstability issues even on thursday since theres going to be such a upsurge of players playing such a low amount of servers, blizz has said they have more rdy to go just in case but how many more?

Its really hard to tell atm. Although most of the servers show up as "full", thats maybe cause of the premade characters taking up space. We will see in a few hours. The last few expansion start was smooth.

Very hype for him to enter clown mode early on, get bored in the middle and not say anything really, then actually start raging by the end but its not due to the game but due to nobody "interacting" and it being "slow" and for him to say "I guess nobody wants to talk today..." as the chat goes a mile a minute.

Considering Phil never preloads a game, I'd bet good money on Phil booting up WoW and having to wait to download the actual game.

There's a few ways the wow stream could go.
1) sits in a server queue the entire time
2) makes a character, is immediately identified, everyone swarms the starting area exactly as last time but characters won't even have anything fun or cool to troll him with. changes servers and sits in a different queue
3) makes a character but has blocked basically 60% of the screen so he can't be found on a server, spends 90 minutes trying to tag mobs because early classic wow is boring and has nothing to see

It's gonna be high octane, thrilling stuff.

I didn't play WoW for very long and it was much later into the game's lifetime, but what seemed like the most interesting part about classic was that later on you did have to be social at least enough to get into and form groups as there weren't any automated things like Dungeon or even Raid Finders. So for DSP to play classic for a couple hours, I just don't see the point other than alotta peephul.
