I didn't play WoW for very long and it was much later into the game's lifetime, but what seemed like the most interesting part about classic was that later on you did have to be social at least enough to get into and form groups as there weren't any automated things like Dungeon or even Raid Finders. So for DSP to play classic for a couple hours, I just don't see the point other than alotta peephul.

Yeah DSP hates people. He hates every game where you have to interact with someone, its why he shits on Destiny. All his rants about Destiny is how you need friends for it. I mean we've all seen it when he's playing multiplayer and he hears someone on mic, not even a troll, just on mic with instructions his smile visibly fades and he shits himself, then mutes everyone. Then for what ever reason starts shitting on the person for daring interact with him? He's gonna hate Classic because he'll refuse to party with people.

Didn't he already sway people away from certain games before they voted? That's his own fault and he's already throwing a temper tantarum. I'm sure when the stream sucks due to his attitude, we'll get a "nuthin I could d0 d00d" while his stream is almost as pathetic to watch as him eating cereal by himself on Christmas. Almost.

What is the point of playing Ninja Gaiden Black for 2 hours if it takes on average 15 hours to complete? 2 hours of Morrowwind, a 46 hour game in which he'll fuck around on the character create screen for 20 minutes? World of Warcraft where he'll barely get through anything? Is he ever playing any of these games again? So he's going to play the first 2 hours of these games, which are the least rage inducing part because he'll barely leave the tutorials, and then stop because it'll be "hardcore gaming season?"

Why not play two five-hour games that he can finish in the "marathon."

Just for that little ego boost to prove himself "right."

Also WoW classic and Morrowind have the added bonus of him stalling for half an hour - 1 hour in character creation just so he has less time to play it, which is one benefit of doing that, the other benefit is that he'll be less likely to get to the juicy bits of the game to help his "I TOLD YOU, I warned you guys that it'll be boring but you didn't listen!" narrative.

• He can relax and do nothing while his audience does all the work, like usual (buying and downloading them is hard work)
• It doesn't matter how he does his marathon, he gets his money anyway because his "fans" and whales are literal spastics

Just ignore how it's all his fault from the beginning for not acting like a professional. Real and honest is a faulty feature if the result leads to be getting fired from every single job. From managing a helicopter company, to salad tosser, to the lowest effort of playing videogames as a career.

Phil is always looking for another games like minecraft where he can put very little effort into the game and get people into a bit and tip bidding war to get something named after them. most streamers are always re-investing money into the stream to get better equipment, but not Phil.. dude has been running the same set up for years and refuses to put money back into his "business"

He never does anything for his viewer's except sit there with his hand out waiting for the money.. The term "giveaway" is not in Phil's vocabulary.

Because he's an idiot. Instead of this rageathon shit, he should just do some type of Indie night. I watch another streamer who does it and he makes a list of indie games and people vote on what's next. He plays the games for about 2 hours and if people like the game he finishes it another day. The 2 hours is perfect for trying out indie games, it's fucking awful for games like Morrowind or WoW where people have hundreds of hours in it. Without him wanting to possibly play these games later it's completely ridiculous to even start them.

As for adding the 'why am I toxic' emote, Phil explains it's about 'owning the meme.' But at the tail-end of his explanation, he also says "at least it's a meme about me, and not other streamers". This is a reference to yesterday, when he commented that Wings of Redemption is a "meme factory", and "how does he shit out so many memes." This is a big clue as to why the emote was added. Is it out of jealousy of Wings? Does he feel like his lolcow legacy is being challenged by Wings? I don't know, but I feel this is important to know.

Interestingly, the voice he does for Wings of Redemption is exactly the same voice he used during the Sonic Dreams PC playthrough in December 2018. It seems he uses that clownmode voice only when sat at the PC.
