All he had to do is spend 5 minutes before he played WoW to figure out how to deal with trolls. Streamers with 10k+ manage to handle them easy enough. I guess it's good he didn't because we got to see how truly inept he is.

I mentioned this in the general thread a couple weeks ago, but DSP doesn't have enough self-reflection to ask himself "Why are my trolls so much worse than everyone else's? Why are they going after me specifically?"

Of course, whatever explanation he actually came up with wouldn't be his fault anyway.

Edit: DSP is confused that games have updates in 2019. "This wasn't in the original game!"

I'm really amazed at how many times he told us that he played WoW back in the day, both when it released and then with his friends at Best Buy, but he didn't remember anything about the interface or the supposed area he would have spent the most time since he claimed to play a Tauren ("What's Mulgore?"). And he didn't even remotely display any nostalgia or describe anything he actually did back then. It was just "I remember this" and then he'd misremember it. Why lie about something so boring, other than being DSP?

How can you be a professional gamer and finish last every race?

So if I read you all correctly we could sum up his Work of Worstshit stream easily in one sentence, if Phil would just say:
"Waaaooow. What a great game. I don't press anything and nothing happens. 15 shekels wasted"
Basically you could sum up the entire stream as "I'm not raging! Why would people think I'm raging" then proceeds to bitch for hours but bitching isn't raging in his mind.

I left for a few minutes and came back to see DSP restarting races.

So he's given up on online mode already? He couldn't handle the losses? That was less than an hour.

In this Rage-a-thon DSP isn't even pretending to rage most of the time. Does Phil really even rage at games anymore? I've only ever really seen him rage against trolls/detractors/or anyone else that gets in between him and money lately.

Maybe he's got low T.

He'd need to experience real human emotions to rage at something, and most days he doesn't manage that at all. The closest he gets is artificial giddiness at being able to indulge in his latest consumer obsession, and that dopamine hit does not last. Any other time he's just a flatline who occasionally flails at acting the way he thinks people expect him to in the vain hope of getting more tips.

You know that stereotype of the used-up, cynical stripper who can barely contain her disdain for the people waving singles at her? Phil is the male millennial version of that.

I tuned in for 5 mins and wanted to end it all. Along with this taking "ownership" of the negative memes bit it would appear Phil is either getting life advice from a therapist (Kat?) or he's taken to reading Sun Tzu on the toilet; the supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.. you're certainly doing that Phil. You subdue the enemy (you know, those people paying your bills for you) by promising authentic fake rage and delivering less than nothing. He's like an 80 year being asked to work a smartphone for the first time. He should be reported for false advertising as this isn't a rage-a-thon it's an intro session into spotting the early signs of dementia. I don't know how anyone can stand to watch it.. I bow down to the power of your will.

DSP is not going to complain that the AI beat him at the finish line because he "knows that the game is full of shit."

So a prime opportunity to rage during the rage-a-thon and he doesn't take it?

Edit: Rewinding Tevin's stream, DSP didn't even play CTR for 90 minutes.

chapter 8. variation in tactics
part 12
sun tzu said that:
there are five dangerous faults which may affect a general:
1. recklessness, which leads to destruction;
2. cowardice, which leads to capture;
3. a hasty temper, which can be provoked by insults;
4. a delicacy of honor which is sensitive to shame;
5. over-solicitude for his man, which exposes him to worry and trouble

Wow you know that game he didn't wanna play and kept complaining was voted in and he kept saying it was a dud? Well it was a dud! Wow, DSP was 100% correct on this, he was proven right and everyone that said its gonna be really fun was proven 100% wrong, wow, he sure showed us that we should listen to him all the time! Personally, I'm quite surprised that a game in which he spent forever on character creation then meandered around the starting area, doing the tutorials and doing the most boring quests possible and saying no commentary would be dull. Its like he tried to make it as boring as possible just to be proven right? Nah. DSP would never do that! But as we know, DSP is an ahnest person. He's certainly not gonna do that to Morrowind, which he also complained about. He'd never do that, we're gonna be proven right about that, it's gonna be good! Same with Street Fighter 5.

If we're supposed to listen to him, then why the fuck doesn't he just pick the games instead of opening it up to trolls and wheelchairs to vote on the games?
"YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW WHAT GOOD STREAMING GAMES ARE!" :stress:

Prediction: DSP will quit at exactly 8 PM EDT (5 PM PDT).

DSP is refusing to play new characters because "he doesn't know them and nobody wants to watch him play training mode."

I also love how DSP says that he doesn't know what he's doing to preemptively give an excuse why he loses and then when he actually loses he will say that the other guy doesn't know how to play the game.

DSP is already facepalming at the title screen music, but no screeching in an attempt to not get the video claimed on Youtube.

Edit: DSP goes into training mode anyway.
