I am personally shocked that he spent the first half an hour creating a character, then next half an hour slowly wandering around random places and slowly reading stuff in the tutorial and pretending to be lost and then spent the final hour actually playing the game where he completed the tutorial and one side quest. I never expected this of DSP, the guy who didn't want to play this game anyways.

I think your math is off. I'm pretty sure DSP only played for one hour and then quit due to boredom. I didn't see most of the gameplay though. I just think DSP started Morrowwind around 8:45 PM Eastern.

Edit: DSP just yelled at a fan who suggested to sign up for Paypal micropayments to lower fees. DSP said NO!, that it didn't have lower fees, and then in the very same sentence said that he didn't know what it was and Paypal never offered it to him. But he knows that this thing he doesn't know anything about doesn't have lower fees.

Edit: I think DSP might actually end up playing LESS than a normal day by the time we are done. I missed the start of WoW, but he played 90 minutes (CTR), 78 minutes (SFV), and 60 minutes (Morrowwind). How long did he play WoW for? I mean, he played it for 0 minutes to be real.

If somebody has kept (approximate) track of his breaks, we can determine it easily because I have the time the stream's been up.

please tell me he didn't say this

It would be especially hilarious because he was streaming on Youtube at the time, right?

DSP just complained that "the game didn't explain anything" in regards to advanced attacks. He is only 12 minutes into the tutorial and he expected the game to explain everything already.

Edit: DSP already said that the game sucks because he died and there were no checkpoints. Motherfucker was 13 minutes in and had dicked around at least half that time. He'll be back to the same point in less than five. But game sucks because he didn't hit a checkpoint already.

Double Edit: DSP is 1 or 2 more deaths away from rage quitting already.

Triple Edit: DSP is so quiet and focused when fighting enemies (because no checkpoints) that you can literally hear him just mash one button for like 20 straight seconds without pause.

This (((rage)))-a-thon is more boring than his regular streams, and that is saying a lot.

That's because DSP is literally just clock killing because he hates all five of these games.

DSP just fucking said that the games have gone LONG! I don't think he's played a game longer than 90 minutes yet.

Edit: Rage aborted; DSP hit a save point.

That's consistent with all of these "marathons" where he plays a bunch of games for 90 minutes. Indies, halloween, rage, viewers choice, whatever. He doesn't care to get invested because he's simply counting down the minutes, he universally hates the games his fans choose, and he spends the whole time calculating the money he spent to buy the games and how much he's making.

Ever had one of those jobs where you're literally counting the minutes until you can finally just fucking leave and go do literally anything else?

Would you say that you liked that job?

I'd probably stick with it if I made $100k+ and had thousands of friends I talked to every day and a loving wife and a cat and I knew I was going to die within 5 years from collapsing into a loose pile of bones.

Not at all. But sadly for Phil, he has to keep up a facade of "loving" his "job" to prove his dectractors wrong and to keep convincing himself that his life doesn't suck.

10 hours and 15 minutes of total stream uptime. Phil claims he played each game for 1.5 hours, except for Morrowind, which was only 1 hour. So by his own estimation, he played games for a whopping 7 hours, which is roughly an hour longer than a normal day. And that includes all his fucking around in character creation and tutorials and whatnot.

This is bullshit he tried to make it go away until Keemstar noticed him. However, current day Phil wears this moment like a badge of honor. Out of his entire 10 year "career" the moment Phil chose to show the most pride in is accidently jacking it on stream, and it explains so much about him in one sentence.

i cant believe ppl still fall for this shit, he doesnt play shit people nominate!
This is something about him I find exceptional. He gives his viewers the illusion of choice, where he'll give them 3 or so games he wants to play but doesn't want to choose himself (that way if it goes awry, he can blame his viewers or spaz out and say the detractors rigged his polls). When he gives them free reign to choose, he'll hum and haw and make them suffer for not choosing the games he they really wanted to play.

And the worst part is, they'll say 'yes daddy' and come back for more.

EDIT oh shit I just realised I've typed out pretty much exactly the same complaint that @Wurstbrot had. Great minds think alike in this asylum..
