That was bad, he only got around $120 in tips for a 7 hour stream. I was expecting Jeff to come through with another $1k, he's probably saving it for the "HORROR MARATHON DAY!"

Surprising no-one, most of the games were boring and didn't make him rage. Maybe try something other than an RPG next time?
:stress:

Again, what was his cucks thinking when they recommended Morrowind for the rage-at-thon? Phil was desperate for something to happen and nothing did, as expected. Whenever he, as a khantent creator, has to be pro-active and make something happen, he fails. He's compeltely dependent on external factors to provide the entertainment. He is completely unable to make something boring interesting. He's so bad at streaming, which brings back the eternal question: Why do people enjoy this guy's content?
It was amusing to see just how little his brain works though. Without the safety nets of modern gaming, such as quest markers, he's completely lost. It took him 2 hours and several dozen utterances of "I don't know what to do" to get to Balmora, despite the game telling him to take the Silt Strider. I know the guy is a complete dumbass but seeing it on display like this never gets old.

Going by Tevin's completely illegal stream replay timestamps:
Wow - 2:09 to 3:20 (71 minutes)
CTR - 3:39 to 5:05 (86 minutes)
SFV - 5:27 to 6:44 (77 minutes)
Morrowwind - 7:37 to 8:38 (61 minutes)
NGB - 8:57 to 10:20 (83 minutes) [Also 5 more minutes of just watching cutscenes]

Total - 378 minutes (6 hours, 18 minutes)

I'm not sure if I'm reading that right, but did he take 1 hour and 53 minutes of breaks between games?
Did he also take a break after pre-stream? or did he just have a 2 hour and 9 minute pre-stream + music segment at the start?

The prestream started 39 minutes after Tevin's stream started (I don't know if DSP was late or not, but I heard he was.)

So it was an hour and a half prestream, 5 minutes to move to computer, gameplay, 20 minute break, gameplay, 22 minute break, gameplay, 53 minute dinner break, gameplay, 20 minute break, gameplay, end of stream.

Edit: Yes, from the time he actually started WoW to the time he ended Ninja Gaiden, DSP took 2 hours of breaks total including a nearly one hour dinner break.

There was a moment during yesterday’s “rageathon” in which someone tipped him and asked him if he felt he ran from confrontation too often. Phil then explained that he never backs down from confrontation, because that’s just how they raise you on the East Coast. But, he didn’t have the self-awareness to see that for the past hour of his World of Warcraft gameplay, he had LITERALLY been running away from trolls. You can’t write this stuff...

He DID say it. He said he submitted the fap emote as DSPFap and then wondered why it was rejected by Twitch. Said he later tried again with DSPWow (i know, right) but that got rejected as well. I saw this in some obscure Tevin lore stream a long time ago, but I'm sure he did it.
i'm sure he did it much later
but according to him he did it RIGHT AWAY
when he wasn't on twitch
when he was trying to deny he was fapping but instead "scratching his leg"
and banning people for mentioning the incident

Tbh though I wasn't expecting him to react to Morrowind the way he did. I knew the game wasn't going to make him rage, but I didn't think he would consider making it a "chill stream" game.

Then again it's the perfect game for spergs to handhold him through, so it would be exactly what he's looking for.

So is that it for his dud-a-thon?

He wasn't running away from the trolls, you nudnik, he was giving his viewers "a tour of World of Warcraft".

I always figured at least some of the game list came from the Patreon viewer selection thing, since that's usually RPG heavy, and Phil just threw it in to this marathon because he doesn't care at all about his Patreons (or anyone else for that matter)

Tinfoil hat time, I've always wondered if Phil goes out of his way to leave in games he doesn't want to play just so he can openly shit on his audience for picking them while also trying to make himself like a good guy who cares about his fans by martyring himself to do what his fans want. That last part might be a stretch even for tinfoil hat territory because I genuinely don't think Phil cares about trying to paint himself as doing things for his fans, since they're supposed to be there for him and not the other way around, but it might cross his mind to try and get more pity bucks, so who knows.

It also might just honestly be that there aren't any games Phil enjoys anymore. I'm struggling to think of a game Phil ever added to his schedule that he was really looking forward to. It's usually just games he can exploit for easy money, new releases or replaying old games that got a lot of views. The only games I can think of he was weirdly excited about was one of the new Dragon Quest games awhile back and the early days of CoD back when he was in his "beasting" phase. That's one of many reasons this marathon failed. There was no rage, just the usual boredom and bitterness Phil always displays towards games.

I wish someone had recommended the unpatched version to him so he'd be dealing with cliffracers every ten seconds.

No tinfoil hat needed for that one, Phil always gives himself an out so it's never his fault, he always has an excuse for who's fault it is when something doesn't go as planned.
and even when the viewers don't pick the game and it tanks, it's still their fault " well, nobody came out to the stream today, very low interaction"

He's doesn't care about making himself look good to the fans, he has a select few whales that he has wrapped around his gout riddled toes, you know you are in deep when Phil emails you and says " hey man, I thought you were going to donate tonight, just wondering where you are at". these people are in so deep that in their minds "Phil can do no wrong"

Phil is a taker and not a giver, and I think a lot of people pick up on it right away. and for those he has under his pignosis they dismiss it quickly.
All of his channel so called "art" and emotes was done by fans and for FREE, there are so many talented people that do twitch logos and overlays. you can custom overplay packs now for like $50-$100 and get a logo for $20 .. yet this dude scrapes the bottle of the barrel and begs fans to do it for free and gets absolute shit channel art and logos
Phils' motto is : "if it's free ,it's for me"

Phil doesn't play games for fun anymore.. maximum profit is the goal.. if it won't bring viewers and high tips. it won't get played.. he's always chasing the dollar.

Jerry Lewis has been dead for two years and the Muscular Dystrophy Association could dig him up and he'd still put on a better "a-thon" than Phil.
At least Jerry Lewis sent you a button or a hat when you donated.. when you donate to Phil he just pulls down his pants and shits all over you.

Was it DSPWow though? I thought it's DSProar
