I don't think it's as simple as she could probably afford it so she should just start her life over
She seems to be emotionally stunted, has abandonment issues and has likely never been on her own in any real way.
It's hard to reconcile that abuse victims rarely seek help even when help is available but they've been conditioned to believe that no one can help them.
Seeing the way her father gaslit her about "playing the victim" I can only imagine the way he treats her privately.

I do disagree with is the face-shooting. Too quick. The parents should get a nice, long stint on death row before they get executed, preferably by botched lethal injection.

This Grace girl is a trainwreck, but it doesn't sound like she had much of a chance not to be with the horrorshow parents she was born to.

Sadly issues like parentification of oldest daughters and lack of boundaries/emotional incest (and straight up incest) are common amongst super religious breeding fetish weirdoes. Of course a gross, predatory loser like Ralph would be sniffing around for a horse replacement in that world.

I hope she's able to get the fuck away from her parents and Ralph and get some serious therapy.

I actually feel sorry for Grace since from what I’m reading she seems to have been fucked from birth and things somehow got worse from there. I hope her father is executed for his incestuous relationship since I’m sure this didn’t just happen spontaneously when they were adults (not that it would justify it) but rather came from grooming her as a child.
