Pokegear's features like a cellphone except being a pokedex.

I'll give him a modicum of credit, it looks decently made (like with everything Chris makes). The costume is going to be a riot.

He's going to use it as a prop and I heard that Crayola Fucking Model Magic is shit clay, it could squeeze flat if he accidentally sit on it.

I have so many fond memories of Pokemon Crystal that are going to be tainted now.

Pokegear's features like a cellphone except being a pokedex.

He's going to use it as a prop and I heard that Crayola Fucking Model Magic is shit clay, it could squeeze flat if he accidentally sit on it.

From what I remember playing with it as a kid, it was relatively hard once it had dried, but it was also brittle; you could snap bits off without much effort, as the many broken medallions Chris shipped to people can attest. One assumes he'll have a tube of True and Honest Krazy Glue on hand.

How big are the cellphones in 1999-2000 back then?

They weren't necessarily big like the early ones from the 80s, but they were bulky and built to last. I had to take my dad's cell phone when I went around with my friends and it made my pants sag. My first cell phone was ol' reliable itself, the Nokia 3310:

I wasn't as cool as Chris though, I didn't think of making a pokeman medallion to wear in public.

I’ve never been to a con, much less bronycon. But isn’t the fact that it’s called “brony”con mean that almost everyone will be dressed up as a pony character?? It’s a con for my little pony. Why dress up as anything else?

It’s like going to scary Halloween party dressed as a slutty nurse. Sure you’re dressing up. But you’re missing the theme.
