Containment Random Chris Updates

Haha you mean Charles Manson?

Both were shitty song writers.

Both will have multiple loonies attempting to claim their bodies after death.

Neither of them surf.
Are you confusing the cult leader CHARLES Manson with musician MARILYN Manson? They're two different people.

Damn it @Mason Verger now I need a ten minute video on why you ninja'd me.

Yeah I was typing in a hurry and ended messing it up.

Thanks for pointing it out

Edit: Also my brother has typed that, does that still work?

All these comments talking about religion and they dont get it that being religious requires you believing in something greater and beyond yourself.

Chris only believes in himself and his make believe "belief", just stupid shit he produced. And in that shit he produced, its okay him commiting every deadly sin there is because it all revolves, involves and dissolves around him. Like politics, religion begins and ends with Chris himself.
There was a time he expressed genuine interest and belief in Christianity which I attribute nore to Bob than Barb. Bob was a Baptist from Texas at a time when they and the Catholics pretty much had a monopoly on community life in the state. Not to say other groups like Episcopal and Methodists, even a few Orthodox didn’t exist but those were overwhelmingly the two big religions in Texas and held most of the influence. Bob also likely learned a lot of humility and religion in the military.

But also remember that Bob wasn’t as nice to Chris, wanted him to actually do shit. Hell bob probably only set him up with the tugboat because Chris was useless at performing even basic tasks and Barb demanded they find Chris a source of income. Being an old and bitter man, he just got him to get the tugboat and said “fuck it”. Not gonna lie, I’d probably do the same in his shoes.

Bob also went to Church with Chris but Barb rarely did. My impression of her is that she’s one of those rednecks that don’t trust any organized religion or government. Bob was willing to go along with it for the community and experience while Barb wasn’t.

I’m analyzing this way too much, yes Chris is fat and lazy. Bob tried but he was old, tired, and impeded. Barb is terrible and everything she touches turns to shit.

I really get the feeling that the day of the graduation ceremony was when he truly learned what a walking pile of failure Chris really was when he had a hissy fit over not getting the award he wanted. His decision to not put him in Special Ed school came to bite him in the ass, he panicked and after getting fucking fired from Wendy's and suspended from college, he accepted there was truly no other way for Chris to survive in this cruel world.

He was wrong, of course, now there could be an element he didnt know Chris could make money from a job and still get a thugboat or it could be that his disappointment was so gigantic that he just couldnt imagine Chris being able to properly function in a workplace environment at all, much less the real world.

It was either that or maybe Barb was just horrible person (Im not sure if she even believes in God or anything like that, she can claim she does but attitude speaks louder than words), could be both of course.

I always just assumed Barb’s obesity kept her from leaving the house often. That, and given what we know about her relationship with her family, she might’ve been a regular church patron until she did something to make the congregation dislike her. Or it was a series of isolated incidents and annoyances that led them to excommunicate her, not unlike Chris’s ban from TGP.

Man its amazing how much we can see comparisons between Barb and Chris's lives.

He truly is her child. And so is Cole, given his Doug Walker tier arrogance as a movie critic.
At least Bob's other children grew up to be healthy members of society and that they at least respected Bob in the end (enough to attend his funeral)

I cut Bob lots of slack too, considering he spent most of his life in a medical era when treatment for his kid often would've consisted of an ice pick to his frontal lobe.

This is also a huge reason why we had so many middle aged adults (late baby boomer-early gen X) receiving autism/ASD diagnoses once developmental disorders started becoming more understood around the 90s and 2000s. Back in those times it was something of a social stigma to admit that your child has some sort of learning or social disability so unless the kid was literally a drooling ape repeatedly slamming their head into walls the preferred solution was to ignore it and just beat the ‘tism out of little Rusty with a sack of oranges.

It still is a stigma.

Whether or not Barb believes in God is irrelevant. The fact is that she manipulated everyone she meets including Bob and Cole and especially Chris for her own comfort. I’m just gonna put this in perspective. If I was married and had a wife unwilling to sleep in the same bed as me with an adult son I would t have to pay child support to, and my house was infested with bugs that were damaging my health, I’d fucking leave. She found ways to keep him around her hoard or maybe he had just given up. I don’t blame him for either. I just think his life would be better if he went to live with David and got the fuck out in his final days.

That would have been much more preferable, he would have David's daughter to talk to, help keep the house horde proof and have his collection much better appreciated during his life and after his passing.

But then again, we dont know how strained their relations were so we dont know if Bob's children would want him around when he had his "other" family...

Yeah, I'm pretty old, so I was just young enough to remember when autism hit the cultural lexicon via shit like Rainman and the Nintendo kids movie. There's was very much a notion among the public of "hey, you hear about this new kinda re.tard? Autotism they call it. Damn things ain't got the gook eyes so they blend right in, 'cept their brains are like nasa computers!".

Popped my head into this Ben Saint Guys discord,

Seems like this Slime Stuff is here to stay.

Bob: Guilt ridden and upset over accidentally breaking his grand dad’s razor six decades after the fact.

Chris: Gleefully sold off his father’s collections that took him a lifetime to accumulate with a story behind every piece in order to buy Funko Pops.

I’d still buy some of the records...
