Containment Random Chris Updates

People only really give Chris money because they assume it will lead to him doing stupid shit. They want repeats of the TMG meltdown, and there was even a prevailing theory that weens were deliberately contacting convention staff and exaggerating the kissing. As Chris has been just doing the Magichan roleplaying for the majority of the year, I’m hoping that there’ll be less incentive to give him extreme amounts of money as a way of enabling his sense of entitlement, as when he finally does face the idea of homelessness I doubt he’ll treat it with a sense of urgency. He’ll probably just make a series of tweets or short videos begging for donations to keep up with the mortgage payments, which might work for a month or two. It’s really a toss up as to how far his “fans” will go if Chris is literally in a sink or swim situation.

I’d rather they donate to Sockness if they’re so starved for fresh content as I’d really like Chris to endure the pain of dealing with someone that makes him look almost normal by comparison. Plus Chris could use genuine companionship when Barb dies. You’d be surprised at how far people will go when faced with true loneliness.

If Ben the Comic Tard had just made his comic painting Chris/his OCs as unstable, dangerous, borderline villainous characters without engaging Chris in any way, it could have been funny. Just continually making Night Shart or whoever get into situations where their incompetence and cluelessness ends up leaving disaster and tragedy in their wake without responding to Chris at all. Chris would flip out, demand Ben make changes to the comic, make comics of his own "correcting" the events...but in the end nothing in Ben's comic changes and there isn't a damned thing Chris can do about it, despite all his godly powers. It could have made for an interesting interlude. But no. Ben had to be a total mongoloid and fuck with Chris directly. Shit is gay, son.

I wish that were the case. Sadly, there have been quite a few people who feel some kind of guilt for laughing at Chris and feel like they have to pay him because of it. There are others who see Chris as a special protected person and give him money to be woke and virtue signal. There are other who give Chris money to piss people like us off. I think the number of people giving Chris money hoping he will make an ass out of himself is much smaller than you think it is. Much smaller.

Chris would also likely flip out if he had made his OCs out to be more powerful than his in a subtle way, like have them rescue Nightstar or run faster than Sonichu.
