For the average high functioning autistic (Or whatever it’s called these days) they usually do okay since it’s a structured environment with high levels of support, the problem is when they have to move on to the adult world of jobs where it doesn’t seem unusual for them not being able to cope leading to them going on welfare/disability.

Chris just likes to play pretend and roleplay with other speds online. He was only "attacked" by an OC in his shower because he probably watched a scary movie and saw his reflection in the bathroom mirror. Chris loves to make shit up for attention. Don't look too deeply into anything he claims.

There are degrees of autism, some are really awful like that Louis Theroux documentary with the kid who can't even talk properly and punches himself.

It would be useful in the psychiatric field to have more clear terms and boundaries for different levels on the "spectrum", otherwise when you hear "autism" you don't really know what you're dealing with precisely. There is no chance he is in the same place mentally as the aforementioned Lewis Carol or Einstein, he seems truly disabled, hence the need for higher precision.

Also to me he seems to have high comorbidity in conjunction with autism. It's not super important or anything to deep dive his psyche but I am kinda curious. If I worked in that field as a profession I'd probably be very keen on his mentality as a case study.

Chris could get a job if he wanted one but he's addicted to attention on the internet and any wages he earned would threaten the monthly tugboat.
He is a narcissist who would belch and fart his way through any job interview then blame the company for not recognizing his genius.

Chris living in cartoon world isn't unique at all. There are tons of tards that wrap themselves in cartoon security blankets. He has very little real human contact outside of people willing to enable his fantasies on the internet. He's a shut in hermit that only goes out when he has to or is craving some micky dees.

Get real. Chris isn't a good case study for anything. If you examined his life the obvious conclusion would be old tv shows are bad, cartoons warp your mind and the internet is no place for retards. If you asked him what his life's greatest achievements are he would say winning the sweepstakes and combining sanic and peekachoo.

It's just a ween troll more along the lines of a bargain store Ben Saint. I looked through his tweets and he draws a sonichu comic and clearly wants Chris to promote it by playing into his fantasies.

I think the main reason Chris was drawn to Sockness was because Jacob paid him and offered to be his fence as a sockpuppet ebay account. Sockness also came with his own deeply autistic lore in all the books sperging about magic and aliens. Chris was able to draw from Sockness lore without it being a typical sonichu rip off or a story using sonichu to trick Chris into thinking its real.

Sockness was also willing to dox himself and make retarded youtube videos for Chris which is more likely to earn his trust than someone hiding behind an anonymous identity.

Anyone who draws a 5 minute fan art of Chris and tells him what he wants to hear along the lines of da merge will get his attention for a split second. Even Jacobs obsession with Chris wasn't enough to hold his attention before going back to Lego playtime and tetris.

I recall years back someone who tried helping Chris couldn't talk to him on an adult level so they had to humor Chris and had to camouflage the aid with a bunch roleplay fantasy bullshit in order for the manchild to give it any thought or attention.

Maybe someone can use that line of thinking to end the merge crap.

He tried to somewhat help, especially during the Idea Guys bullshit era or the beautiful Hedgehog Defense episode, but quickly realized that Chris is beyond any help.

Understand : He doesn't deserve any. So, to really answer your question How does that work : It doesn't, really.

Apologies. that wasn't his IQ. that was his Health-Sickness Rating Scale when he was evaluated for autism.

According to wikipedia, chris's rating of 70 means: "71 – 80 If symptoms are present, they are transient and expectable reactions to psychosocial stressors (e.g., difficulty concentrating after family argument); no more than slight impairment in social, occupational, or school functioning (e.g., temporarily falling behind in schoolwork)."
Its below average but not like he's a tard who runs with scissors. It does translate to he's below average on a mental level but is not his IQ.
