I can tell you right now Chris likely doesn't even care about the actual plot about MLP G4. The only interest he has in his rants about wanting five more seasons is because he wants his headcanon realized, where each of the original main characters get a whole season to turn into an alicorn god princess alongside Twilight Sparkle.

I'm actually a little surprised he wasn't bound and gagged in Flutter's cellar or something. He was pretty much disappeared off the face of the Earth for dang near 2 weeks there.

No streams or podcasts or even any updates on his little art commissions lately though.

Caden must have enough money for the mortgage and other expenses for the moment.
