Containment Random Chris Updates

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
He'd put it down if he could afford it, but he literally has neither the credit nor the cash to afford the medical bill for euthanasia. So, he's been instructed to bundle it up in a warm, dimly lit room. He wants to be with it, but it's causing him a lot of anguish he can't adequately deal with, so the best possible outcome considering a lack of funds and support is to just let it lay still overnight.

I suppose "whoring out" would be a better term for it.
He's not whoring out a dead cat you fucking moron, he can't afford the fucking vet bills for putting it down. It cost my mom $200 to put down my cat when it developed cancer and just started crying and seizing.

Serious question, would Chris euthanize Pollo if he had the money for It?

When my childhood dog got to that age, I had been on my own for about 4-5 years. The dog was still with my Dad who asked me to take the dog for a week while he was out of town. My dad made it pretty clear the dog was on his last leg, and wanted me to make the call to put the dog down or not. I took care of the pooch for a week, and after that, my Dad asked me to take pooch to the vet. The vet was basically like "for some expensive medicine, your dog might get a few more months". I goaded and prodded, and begged the vet to just tell me it's time, but he wouldn't.

I had to make the call.

It was between me putting a lifelong friend down, or letting him suffer, and I was a mess. I setup the appointment to put him down, and the dog died the day of, hours before the appointment, while I was in route with another family member from the airport to see him off.

The reason for my feelsie story is to raise the question about Chris' thoughts on death, but also life. Is Chris being greedy by keeping his feline friend around as long as possible, or could he make the choice to end his friend's suffering if he had the funds?

The cat only started showing signs that something was wrong in the last 48 hours.
It just started showing the deathrattle symptoms in the last 48 hours, but it's a fucking 20 year old cat; it's been dying for the last few months whether you could see it or not.

And burying a pet animal in the back yard is a problem how?
It's not, it's just something Chris would consider a lot of work. (Hell, it's a lot of work for anyone.) By proper I was referring to getting the body cremated as opposed to the retards who put it the trash, which local governments have a field day fining people for.

He'd make the choice, if only because he's seen enough television to have digested the "crying for a dying pet" trope by now.
If the cat needed to be put down, I would give Chris the money, or pay the vet directly if I could. I can't stand to see an animal suffer. Except Chris.
If it came to that, someone can possibly organize collecting money for that purpose and guaranteeing that it gets to its final destination (and only that).

But then you'd have to trust CWC to use the money for that purpose instead of putting it towards Bronycon.

As much as the gesture would be thoughtful (for the cat): don't send CWC money if he starts asking for funds to put his cat down.

If it was, and I have given myself zero schooling on the nature of his rap sheet, but if it was, he'd likely be looking at assault charges. Waaaay worse than trespassing.

Not necessarily. He could have been warned about bringing in what could be seen as a weapon into public areas (like the gym), and gotten a ban simply by refusing to abide by the request to leave it at home.

It's hard to watch an animal suffer, but why should anyone else pay for Pollo's euthanasia? It's Chris's pet. Let him pay for it for once, especially if he's as decent of a pet owner as you have been claiming.

I'm not saying this to be a jerk to Pollo. I've seen enough times pet owners aren't held accountable, and in the end they just get a new pet anyway and the cycle continues, learning nothing. Chris already habitually gets new cats.

For the people concerned about Chris using his bat on someone, I got you a graphical description of what would happen:
