Containment Random Chris Updates

I disagree. The golden time for him to make bank on Sonichu would have been back in 2009-10 when trolling Chris was at it's highest and people were actually making animated videos of Sonichu. If he put in a bit of effort and focused more on his comics, which his built in audience wanted more of, then he could have made some bank until Nintendo and Sega got pissed off and put the brakes on the whole shit.
I don't think the earnings potential for Sonichu could be characterized as real bank (ignoring that that's relative). There's a point where to novelty of Chris' brand of autism can't make up for Chris' very low competence, and I can't imagine that point is very high. There's no way it would be more than a few thousand a year.

He could get around Nintendo and Sega pushing his shit in by not mentioning their properties directly. Sonichu, the character, and most other characters in the series meet the requirements for copyrightability. If he'd be willing to drop Pokemon from Sonichu's descriptors, the case for copyrightability of the characters would become a lot stronger. Sonichu, the anthropomorphic electric hedgehog is more unique than Sonichu, the electric hedgehog Pokemon.

If they were 25 dollars each and from what I heard, if he sold 300
THATS 7.5 THOUSAND DOLLARS
WHAT THE FUCK
It's worth keeping in mind that that revenue is the result of over a decade of "work" by Chris. His earnings from a hypothetical minimum wage job over the same time period would have been substantially higher. 7500USD is a year of 20 hour work weeks at Virginia minimum wage, and he could still get his SSDI.

Things are about to get really interesting at 14 BC from now through Christmas.

Two pending debt lawsuits, the death of his Focus, etc.. it's going to stack up on him.
Winter is coming.

To get Sega and Nintendo off of his back he would have to change Sonichu and Rosechu's look completely. Although the way he draws them, they are pretty much unrecognizable next to the properties he stole them from anyway. But let's say that Chris had art skills. He would have to change Sonichu's eyes because I believe that single eye, two pupil look is trademarked by Sega. Eveidence of this is when Ken Lenders won his lawsuit against Archie comics to keep his created characters from the Sonic comic universe, but then Sega stepped in and added a stipulation that he couldn't use the Sonic Style eyes. Also Chris would have to change the pikachu and Raichu tails into something else. Then he would be in the clear.

So two debt lawsuits, a busted car and Christmas around the corner eh? How is he going to weasel his way out of this one?
Paypigs will come to the rescue. There's always some sap on the internet who thinks it's high comedy to 'troll' Chris by giving him loads of money. Chris only has to start whining and people break out the white knight act.

I don't see how these months think it's high comedy, the most they are doing is making themselves the organ grinder to keep the monkey dancing.

It's like, I'm not new enough to this shit to genuinely think people wouldn't buy Focuschu as some kind of dumbass ironic joke. It's just hard to keep my incredulity contained at the thought of someone buying a fucking scrapped car just because its previous owner drinks his own jizz.

Maybe Hirtes will buy it and destroy it live on camera.

If this were anyone else we were talking about, I'd say it'd take them all of half an hour to figure out how to get those mods installed, but this is Chris. He'd probably take all day to do it, and then he'd accidentally format his hard drive or something.
And then somehow blame Michael Snyder or Greene County
he's sending it to auction hoping his fame will bring about more money
:story:

C'mon, with all the worthless shit Chris has sold, do you really have to ask that question?

Give me a spare four grand or so and I'd happily buy Son-Chu and film a Steve McQueen-type art film showing its prolonged destruction afterwards. Might even win an award for it. And ensure that Chris had a nice DVD copy sent to him.

Mind you, Blanca already did it with the medallion. So, meh.

Just clarified with Chris that Chrysler Capitol is the creditor for the car loan and he owes.. A lot. He wouldn't be specific which means it's likely quite a bit.

Also they are indeed the ones who suggested the auction. He surrendered the car directly to them to auction, whatever that means. I didn't even know surrendering a car was a thing.

You're not late it just hasn't been brought up because of the cat drama.

The day before Patches died the engine in the Focus crapped out. Something in the range of 4k to fix so he's sending it to auction hoping his fame will bring about more money than what it's worth (scrap) to pay off the rest is the loan.

He had a really bad week.

Anyway, they're down to just the van now.

This would tug my heartstrings but I am positive that if someone gave him the money to pay the car loan off he'd spend it all on toys and ask for more.

I guess with it being auctioned they can't repo it and it's not like they can put a lien on his income. With the engine gone he's most likely going to get the scrap value.
