It also fails to differentiate between rational and irrational/emotional empathy. This isn't a choice people make. It is down to neuroscience. Some are emotionally empathetic. Those people accept the "truth" of someone's emotions (to borrow from video).

This short video goes deep on the selfish irrationality that appeals to people like Chris. The only response is no response (or giving money). Facts don't matter when someone feels bad. Empathy is people not questioning anything someone says or does because their feelings are above all else.

We are also taught to say or do something when something bad happens. You can buy miscarriage greeting cards.

After all Chris made her go throught,he still think that he can be friends with her.This show Chris really dont understand people.

And also,even if he's not chimping out like he used to,Chris is weirder than when they were friends and he did way more fucked up shit after her departure.

Chris has always been super nostalgic for his high school friends, in fact it started at Graduation. It's kind of telling really, even though according to Bob, Barb AND Chris, Megan is the queen troll and architect of much of his misfortune, that Chris still wants to be friends with Megan. Either Chris is waking up to his mistaken beliefs or he just doesn't care.

The latter is most likely, I think Megan could meet Chris and be wearing a pickle suit with 'TROLL' painted on it and Chris would still try to be friends with her.

Thank you for showing us examples of Chris' prime empathy skills..why, he can't even fathom that some idiot would be taking advantage of him for views. Even with the "entertainment purposes only" disclaimer, Chris is still trying to hitch his star to the impossible and highly improbable. Can you imagine Chris going to a gay bar, and stripping naked with moobs that resemble a nursing goat's tits, complete with stubble? That's as good as it will get for Chris.
