Seeing these people make utter asses of themselves without a moment's hesitation makes me think they'd be better off in an insane asylum, locked away so they can't hurt themselves or others. I genuinely believe that this guy in particular is so mentally unwell that he means what he says and does, and isn't even in it for the notoriety. He should have a carer or someone to watch over him and make sure he's not doing this horrendous shit. Either he's an autistic mastermind in that he's able to fake a normal persona when/if he goes out, or he has no one and is subsisting off the government (read: taxpayers).

I don't know about anyone else, but the intrusion by these try-hard lunatics is grating. In my mind, it's indicative of what social media and reality TV has done to our culture. It's made some of the most boring people behave like weak-willed degenerates because they think it will catapult them into some kind of fame: the sad part is that they're not wrong. I also blame victim culture, as now our society awards those who mewl about oppression and how it's holding them back instead of those who rise above adversity and conquer their flaws. It's not for nothing that Chris and other lolcows are attracted to and become embroiled in victim culture.
