While the geezer pleasing is one thing, his behavior at past cons would be cause for concern for organizers. Just the idea of letting Chris free reign when he's got that history at conventions would open that convention up to a lot of criticism, and at a time where people are really into "safe" spaces.

Chris could have been referring to the TooManyGames episode, where he's still convinced the entire thing was a troll setup, rather than him behaving completely inappropriately, despite multiple warnings across all platforms.

I think he even knows this given that him and Cabbage went to that con without pre-registering.
