does anyone know why he's talking about transformers so much lately? I believe it started with his uproarious 'autobahn' pun, and he's been going on about it ever since. I know it's always been an interest of his (megatron pistol, Optimus Prime keeping him from becoming a homo etc) but he never really showed much interest in it until now. I always got the feeling that he liked it growing up because everyone else did, and he felt like it was more of an obligation than anything.
I mean of course it appeals to him because it's bright and colourful and aimed at people who's age and IQ is a single digit, but why is he going on about it?

I think Chris has always had an interest in Transformers, I think the most recent word salad about the topic, is down to the fact that there have been a lot of new releases toy wise(I have seen some of them in store myself, lots of updated versions of G1 favourites)

My guess is he's really hyped due to the new releases being Titan masters. 'Titan masters', also known as 'Headmasters' were part of the classic Transformers back in the days. I think he is still fond of the classic Transfomers. Knowning it's being released he's very excited and talks about it oftenly ( like he did in his last post about switchable heads).
I did a small search on his Galvatron-toy which he used in his videos. It appears to be released last July and that it belonged to the Titans Return toyline. This might explain his intense begging in that month. With all his spendingmoney gone to courtfees and the toy being released in the same month, he had to resort to begging so he can get it 'now Now NOW'.
It's only a matter of time before he starts spending more and more on that toyline untill he gets hooked again. When that happens he will go back posting beggingvideos so he can feed his addiction.

He made that Facebook list in 2014 asking (I REALLY want this!!! MULTIPLES OF THESE!!!) for 76 Lego sets.
Given his recent eBay history and Facebook posts I guess he's going through a Transformers phase right now. Maybe by Christmas he'll be back to Lego or ponies though.

Sailor Neptune, to be more accurate. Who happens to be a lesbian in canon, Chris has said before that he admires her and odds are he'd like to bang her and her girlfriend. And given that they adopt a baby girl, he may be projecting his Crystal fantasy here.
There is a great dose of irony here given that Sailor Moon was something he used to 'keep him straight' and now it has become a way to express his 'lesbian soul'. And I wonder if Chris is so influenced by cartoons and anime that he thinks that adopting the hair color/style makes someone immediately look like the character in question? So that in his mind he thinks that by dying his hair like Sailor Neptune makes him look like her? So sad.

I was under the impression that Chris' hair faded from blue to green--which happens pretty frequently with that color dye--and either someone told him it reminded them of Sailor Neptune (maybe also Hatsune Miko) or he came to that conclusion himself. After that he probably switched to greenish dye specifically.

I thought it was just Chris screwing up something, he wanted to paint it blue but got green by accident.

Well it was blue, originally, when he went to Omegacon. And his roots were visible if I remember correctly while the dye was still fading from blue to green. But yeah, he can't get the color he is looking for because he's not bleaching his hair first--that's about the only way you can get a true blue or green hair color.
