personally i think this is a fantastic move from chris.
geno is a parasite on him, who makes his living recycling his content verbatim, even going as far as making soichu medallions. has now gone as far as to take his creative magnum opus and profit off them further,
his entire internet career is because of chris and the labor of love the editors of the cwcikipeda put into the website over 10+ years receiving nothing in return.
this message from chris is him telling geno he can no longer profit off his person as animating his comic is essentially plagiarism.
now, without chirs geno will have to shift into being a bootleg windigoon in an already saturated market, will he have the charisma to survive?

.....the difference is Chris "character" is stole from another character, and he couldn't copyright it. Not that he has. So no, no one owns it. If you (who may or may not be an incestual rapist) tried to sue me over my Mario The Minecrafter videos I would laugh and spit in your eye.

And yes that literally does mean anyone can take the "property" if the property isn't owned by anyone (especially the autist who is trying to claim it is). That's not how it works

So Geno stole from both Sega and Nintendo, as all three episodes contain characters belonging to them (Episode 1 has Sonic, Pikachu and Perfect Chaos, Episode 2 has Raichu and mentions of several Pokemon characters such as Dragonite and Professor Oak, and Episode 3 has Giovanni, Zapdos, Raikou and several other pokemon).
