Shit happens, plus it was before the era of everything getting censored or DMCA'd. Plus, when a lot of that stuff was happening in real time, the general opinion of the time was once it was online it was online forever. Glad archives were found though.

It's crazy to think that Chris was obsessed with documenting his own life before the trolls took over.

I don't mind seeing Chris and his family in those old photos but the ones of Patti just break my heat. Penned up, still with that shelter look, having to live outside, being excited to see anyone...
Just look at all the yearbook photos and realize that Chris was documenting these people years after he left high school. A place that is just a distant memory as they get on with their lives but it was the best time for Chris.

It was maybe the only time he truly felt like he was happy, which says a lot about what kind of a different person he may have been had he been given proper special education and not spoiled endlessly.

Going through the new pictures being posted, I couldn't help noticing a few things in my autistic mind:
Chris looked like a pretty normal kid in his early pictures, like just regular old kid playing with his grandfather, until you realize that's his dad, and Chris was mute and could only loudly scream stuff.

...was Chris lived in homes or townhouses that were actually clean. You can start to see the hoard in its infancy but it's nothing like it would become.

Without wishing to powerlevel too much, I can confirm that if you didn't like the ninja turtle watermark, your dad could help you remove the little slide piece from the camera's innards.

He's going to be raked over the coals for this, but he's also arrogant enough not to care. And he's right. I don't think there's anyone in his sphere that legitimately cared about him like Null. But that time is past now that he's a motherfucker. He's growing, which is a good thing to see.

Maybe he realizes that his current group of associates aren't really his friends, or Chris doesn't have anything in common with them because they're much younger, at least Caden is. Or else this is some scheme by Caden to "fix Chris" in terms of getting him legitimate friends. Chris has been kind of self reflecting lately, like his apology for being a jerk in the past, so who knows, maybe, just maybe he's learned.

We had furniture like that when I was growing up. Much more comfortable than what we have today but ours was more like a red with green yellow and blue criss-crosses.
Had a very nice couch and matching coffee table. Unfortunately no foot rest like seen here but I think we did start out with one of those crank TVs at my grandparents. Had a smaller silver one up in the corner and that thing was a nightmare to have to try to turn the channel you know like a little shelf.
Poor Christopher. I do genuinely feel for this little guy he's a little cutie.
What happened to Chris should have never happened he should have had decent parents who got him the help he needed and didn't try to mainstream him. I think that's what they try to do in schools now.
They try to meet the needs of the child and not force the child to hide their autism. They're literally born with it, you're not going to make an autistic kid non-autistic. When I was growing up you had to adapt to the world, the world didn't adapt to you and Chris is an extreme example of how that doesn't work.
I know I joke a lot but I do mean what I say about this. These are children who deserve to have competent, loving parents and teachers who know what they're doing and who give a damn. Chris deserved that as a kid and I really do hope kids like Chris are getting a help they need now. It's a real damn shame.
