Yes and no. The Idea Guys destroyed Chris’ psyche entirely and permanently and he would not be where he is now if they never came into the picture. Bella on the other hand had the intention of trying to get Chris to kill himself (which thankfully never came to fruition), damaged Fiona so badly that she got admitted into a mental institution (though she had her own set of issues), and was just a far eviler person.
