Containment Random Chris Updates

Didn't he do a bunch of pre-orders and special requests too? That's the worst way to do it, especially if the person tends to let things slide, because there could be a log jam between receiving the orders and making the product.

He should have just made a mediallion, took a photo of it and then put it up for auction.
If I remember correctly, one problem was that he listed his items to have unlimited stock or some shit. So it wasn't people contacting him and arranging a sale, but an automated system accepting orders on his behalf. Although, that's largely irrelevant, because I'm sure Chris would have no problem accepting a bunch of orders without any thought as to how he'd actually fulfill them.

Chris is very much a shoot-first-and-ask-questions sorta guy. But not in a good way. In the way that he'll fucking ruin his life because he can't look more than two months ahead.

Plus Chris got really excited about the amiibos, and made like a bunch of them without thinking about demand.
Excluding weens, It looks like his on time delivery rate is about 85%, which sucks. I'm judging that number by the complaints I see. I'm sure you'll disagree on the number.
No, that sounds on target. And yeah, it's definitely shitty.
A Self-cuck sounds a heck of a lot like sucker, tho a cuck is a sucker and not all suckers are cucks.
The ones who get ripped off but don't complain are suckers.
That's more reasons/excuses for being dishonest than saying he's not dishonest.
Granted Chris tends to believe he's lying "for the greater good" but it's still dishonest.
He only really generally stops his charade when he can't keep his lies straight anymore.
Trolls didn't make Chris shoplift, they didn't teach him his returns trick between stores and they didn't (maybe) convince him to pretend to be liquid Chris so he could fuck kacey.
Just cause Chris thinks everyone is a "mark" doesn't make him any less dishonest.
When I talk about Chris lying, I mean very specifically, Chris telling something that he knows and admits (at least to himself) to be a falsehood. I don't think this happens very often.

Chris lying definitely has happened before, and there are lots of prominent (and hilarious) examples of it happening, but it's dwarfed by the constant, unrestrained honesty he displays everywhere else (like @neural notes), almost all of the time. I think Chris attempts to lie way less than your average person.

I don't think this is because Chris is an upstanding person. I think if Chris thought he could be slick and lie his ass off for some sort of personal gain, I think he'd do it in a heartbeat.

But Chris gets sweaty and nervous when he lies, just because his lies are so easy to see through. He knows he'll get caught. He's scared of getting caught. So instead of lying, he finds other ways to weasel out of responsibility.

So to clarify, there's a difference between never (or essentially never) sending out the comics, and occasionally fucking up and missing a deadline. They're both shitty, but one is worse.

I think people get the impression that Chris' schedule is more like the former than the latter. The truth is that, in general, Chris does regularly send out the rewards. He fucks up sometimes, and he misses deadlines sometimes, but not most of the time.

This person isn't a sucker for contributing to Chris' patreon. (Well, other than gambling on wanting this to be delivered in time for Christmas.) They just have shitty taste.
I definitely agree that Chris is missing deadlines and not scamming people, but he does seem to miss a lot of deadlines. I doubt it's most of the time, but it's enough that you should be aware of it when buying his shit.

Agreed. But it'd be hard for anyone to argue that they weren't already aware of the risk before doing business with him. After all, if they know enough about Sonichu to want to order from him, they must know a bit about his history. Unless he somehow really does have a vast contingency of real fans that no one has ever observed aside from Chris himself.

Then again, you'd think the more you know about Sonichu, the less you'd want to actually buy its merch. Oh well.

If Chris wants something he will usually do any amount of double think bulls hit to get it, rather than working on it.

I would bet a tooth that Barb is the one who taught him his most distasteful behaviors, like "wheelin' and dealin'". I'm still not sure how that's supposed to work since most stores require proof of purchase though. I wouldn't be surprised if he's seen her shoplift too.

I saw this kind of stuff fairly often 10+ years ago (As well as using game return policies to basically rent games for free), it’s probally why stores are so stringent with their rules these days.

Barb ded.

Nah he's probably just doing the orders he's been strong-armed into or something on Sonic Forces took his fancy.

Or getting his annual Christmas wish list of demands ready for facebook. Watch him link it to his Patreon to or something. Or god knows, after all the insane babble he's been spewing out lately I wont be surprised if tries to pull a "send me some of the gifts on this lists so I can be inspired to defend CWCville from invasion forces led by the spirit of my Keurig" or some crazy shit like that.

Chris isn't lying about needing money for bills vs toys.
He's been dishonest about that at times. Like when he started selling stamps. He claimed he needed money for bills, but one day later, he blew most of his profit on vidya, and over the next few days actually spent more on toys than he was taking in from the stamps. When he begged people to buy more and again claimed he wanted money for bills, Waterman called him out on it and Chris lied by saying he hadn't bought any Lego and insisted that the money had gone to bills.

Please share some anecdotes, it's been a slow few days..
Well, I think they're mostly all on the cwcki. A funny one that comes to mind is when Chris tried to pretend to be Bill Riley. We leaked info to him about a top secret troll chat, and then Chris joined and tried to "blend in". It was hilarious.

Yeah, that's true.

Earlier on, when he first started shrieking about needing money for bills, it was because Barb was screaming at him for money. He was being genuine back then with his statements: he really did need money* and yes it was for bills**.

* "need" should be interpreted generously here
** A specific bill? Bills in general? Unsure. And if you asked Chris for the details, he'd get whiny and stress sigh at you before answering. His answer would be honest, but the lesson we'd learn from it is that Chris doesn't like to have his claims fact checked.

But yeah, you're right. He's gotten much more comfortable with bullshitting about what happens to the money. I think it's because Chris doesn't formally budget (he's got a running total in his head, but nothing specific). If Chris formally budgeted, he'd see that on an ordinary month, he spends 30% of his money on toys, but in the months where some spergs gave him $200, he ends up spending 35% on toys. But Chris doesn't actually keep track of that number.

And so he thinks that if he doesn't know the precise amount that his toy budget goes up, then we can't know that his toy budget is going up either. Chris will look you in the eye and say he has no clue how much his toy budget increased by. 0% 2% 5%? Chris has no clue. They're all equally possible according to Chris.

It's the same sort of argument he uses with his magical thinking shit recently. "Well you can't PROVE that alternate universes filled with ponies doesn't exist! Haha! Checkmate atheists!" Chris doesn't realize how fucking retarded his arguments sound.

And I believe Chris DID get on the honor roll, but the problem was how he got there lol.

I've often wondered if it was some kind of honour roll for special needs children rather than the real thing for normals. Although Chris isn't always totally thick the school-work we've seen (stolen after the fire, I believe) has been very sub-par. Though some got surprisingly high scores.

My hypothesis is that most of his teachers gave the tard a break, there are some that think that they didn't care what he did, but given that his parents talked to the principal about setting up the gal pals, I think that most of the school knew they had a charity case on their hands, and that includes the teachers.

I am open to it being a bit from column A and a bit from column B though.

I would suggest the same too. It's no doubt they didn't want to go through another headache like the Chandlers gave the former elementary school back home.

I dont remember this? I remember hearing he drove by the Wallflower's house and called her after she told him to stay away though.
During the Liquid saga he tried to pretend to be Liquid to take Kacey from him.

I am unsure if this was entirely his own idea though. Maybe @Marvin could help us out here..

The honor roll in the US is generally just reaching a B average for grades. If Chris takes tard classes (which he did) and manages to get a B average, then he got honor roll.

Setting that scene up was definitely our intention. At the least, we set up the call and had Kacey mistake Chris on the phone for Liquid. Not sure if we specifically coached him on doing it beforehand or not.

Pretty much this.

There was a very sweet, very nice girl with Down syndrome in my school. She went to special ed and managed a 4.0 in all her classes. Got honor roll at graduation.

I’m not trying to rain on her parade. She was a very sweet girl and I’m 100% sure she deserved those grades. But she wasn’t taking advanced math or high level science and English.

She was taking classes that taught her how to cook microwaveable meals for herself, how to clean up after herself, daily English lessons, and overall LIFE skills she would need to succeed with the handicap she had.

Based on the homework we’ve seen, Chris was in special ed classes with a few other classes mixed in. Like Spanish. I can see those teachers giving him a break on grading. No one wants to fail the retard.

Guess it just shows that high school honor roll means absolutely nothing once you graduate... unless you’re stuck in the past.

We live in an era where the term "Honor Roll" was downgraded severely to make special needs kids feel better about graduation.

If he took tard classes, then why is Chris saying he was mainstreamed? That kinda seems like the opposite of mainstreaming to me.

Also, on an unrelated note, was this a failed troll plot, or was it the real Veronica trying to interview him?
