He really is! He's always kind of a jerk but lately he's been particularly bitchy. It's like he's trying to assert himself more but is doing so the wrong way and to the wrong people at that.

It's odd behavior for him. At least in my opinion.

I think it will be very fascinating to see where Chris's Patreon goes from there.. Now that he has basically chimped out on Twitter about his loss of income, this means that whoever is giving him money may get ideas and try to extend the financhu crisis to get more content that way.

Also, it seems that the number of patrons have actually increased despite the huge plummet in his take-home amount.. I think he lost a couple of real whales, which can be super hard to get.

And I'm not totally sure if it's related to Chris raging at her and kicking her off his FB, but I see that Mellanie Chafe / Luniara is no longer a patron of Chris's. She's not even following him.

She was still his patron in February, even though he didn't even bother to send her the book she ordered. Also, Graphtreon reports that he lost one patron and $23 of pledging a day after he had blocked her.

Now that he has basically chimped out on Twitter about his loss of income, this means that whoever is giving him money may get ideas and try to extend the financhu crisis to get more content that way.

His patrons tend to be such doormats that they'll probably just fork over money to Chris because of excitement over his umpteenth promise that he's totally going back to work on the comic. Then six months later when they realize they were scammed, they'll pull their pledges, only to be immediately replaced by a new crop of fans.

Chris always complained about his father "starting fights," but in his correspondences with various Christorians/trolls (Jackie & @Alec Benson Leary come to mind), he tends to classify the breaching of uncomfortable topics (Jackie AIM chats) or ever-so-slightly pointed criticisms (ABL calls) as "things that can be construed as arguments." He probably perceives Kengles insistent nudging & prodding as "starting arguments" like his dad, hence the weird non-sequitar.
