Containment Random Chris Updates

It's hard to watch an animal suffer, but why should anyone else pay for Pollo's euthanasia? It's Chris's pet. Let him pay for it for once, especially if he's as decent of a pet owner as you have been claiming.

I'm not saying this to be a jerk to Pollo. I've seen enough times pet owners aren't held accountable, and in the end they just get a new pet anyway and the cycle continues, learning nothing. Chris already habitually gets new cats.
Dude it's totally fine to outright say you don't want Chris to get money, you don't have to go through hoops with things like "let Pollo die, he'll get another cat soon enough".

Now don't get me wrong, you will get some bad internet stickers from strange internet autists for saying what you want to say, but at least you got to speak your mind.

If it came to that, someone can possibly organize collecting money for that purpose and guaranteeing that it gets to its final destination (and only that).
Chris could ask the vet if they would take donations under his name for the cat.

Worst case scenario, Chris doesn’t bring the cat in and the vet gets some nice donations from some kiwis for future animals.

I’m honestly surprised the cat lasted this long. That’s an old ass cat living in some ....not so nice/healthy environment

The fact that Pollo survived in the environment that he was in for this fucking long is nothing short of a miracle.

I sympathise with Chris at this stage. I really do.

At the same time, he was whining about being 500 dollars down on his Patreon this month. Fucking hell Chris, working on Patreon goals = More money.

Same with spending money on amiibos. Or buying God of War.

I really do feel for him in this time of need but at the same time I cannot help but feel that he hasn't helped himself...

Yeah. I mean I feel for him, but I just find it weird all this shit is happening all at once. Losing Sorbet, Pollo dying, etc. Either he's unlucky as fuck, or he's getting a bit scummy with his "we need money" lies...

If his cat really is dying, I feel bad for him regarding that, but I'd have to be as retarded as he is to send him money without acknowledging the possibility that the money may never help that cat. Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel comfortable just giving Chris money.

Fucking hell, are those shields? Haha it looks like those ladies can be defeated by simply walking up a gradual incline.

Anyways, back to Chris, pollo is old. Yes it's fine to euthanize an animal that's suffering for days, but it looks like it's just kind of fading away, and Chris made it comfortable and that's the best he can do. Not all pets need a needle to push them along. If it dies warm and safe then that's not so fucking terrible.

So true. According to his tweets, he has a bronze ticket for Bronycon. If his cat has to be put down, he could sell that ticket and use the earnings to see that Pollo can slip away comfortably/peacefully.

But, let's be real here; that'll never happen.

Well, sooner or later, a Curse-Ye-Ha-Me-HA was bound to backfire on him...sow the wind, reap the whirlwind and all that...

Or sell his brand new Apple phone instead of the old one that barely works.

People have mentioned on their own that they would be willing to pay. It's arguable about how necessary that is, considering Chris' recent poverty.

But Chris is a slimy motherfucker. Especially now, after whatever it was that he's been through. He's not going to make up any shit about his pets yet (but his degeneracy is increasing), but if he asks for money for Pollo's euthanasia and he gets a few hundred extra dollars, well, he's not going to send that back.

If Chris is really claiming poverty and can't pay (which is possible), then someone could facilitate making sure any donations went to their stated goal.

Though I'd note that Chris doesn't go out and acquire new cats, as in purchasing them or getting them from the animal shelter. Chris takes in strays that are already hanging around outside of 14BC looking for food.

Anything I've said in Chris' favor as to him taking care of his pets is tightly restricted to: outdoor cats that basically use 14BC as a flophouse, and they seem to want to come back to 14BC regularly. I think it's retarded when people think Chris can't leave a dish of food and water out successfully. But I also lose any sense of humor about the situation if the "outdoor cat" assumption no longer holds. (Like if Chris starts keeping the cats indoors and refusing to let them out. Or the whole situation with the dogs, for example.)

Basically:
  • Chris might legit be poor, he's been through some shit recently.
  • Chris might also not be poor after he paid off Seterus. Hard to tell.
  • Whatever shit Chris went through has made him really... hard. I can't really judge him for how he is reacting to it, but I also don't trust him either.
