I think he's usually a big fan of reboots as long as they don't trigger his autism. What @Chrus Chundlur said.

And I think he rationalizes reboots as being in their own separate universe from the original plot.

Nah I think he would, Chris doesn't care if he's already got a pony version of himself there, he'll add as many Chris-chans into his story as he can. And even if you think he wouldn't like to be reminded of how he was a dumb male, he would just do this and turn that old pony into a woman:

It's Chris. All he cares about or seems to care about when it comes to media is
1. Fulfilling his fantasies/making him feel warm and fuzzy (like mlp im sure makes him feel loved, just look at the sonichu pages with ponies)
2. Nostalgia. Of course he doesn't actually care about what the Ducktales reboot and Sonic Boom have to offer. They changed a minor detail.
