Are you kidding? There's no sense of body language, every expression is exactly the same, the whole thing looks like a chain of paper dolls. People may make fun of the art in Sonichu's early days, but even the much-mocked cover of the first issue has more life, motion, and interest to it than this.

It's interesting how Chris kept the elements he liked from the Ideafag stuff. Like Robertchu (I can almost picture the lumberjack twitching in his grave), the Magi-Chan stuff..etc.
It's almost as if Chris used Ideaguy as his surrogate imagination or something.

Chris's opus magnus is an amalgamation of two of the most popular franchises of the early 2000. He doesn't have an imagination, he has "mind toys" and his subconscious is an exceptional kid gluing everything together. If any other kid comes by and builds a castle on his sandbox, he'll make it part of his world and play with it as he pleases. He's not really a creative person, he's good at mashing things together and making them his own.
Edit: I kinda forgot about his early works. He does have some imagination but at some point he dropped the mental exercise to favor pre-made media pieces and making it part of the Sonichuverse.
