Unfortunately, yes. You see, most bronies are basically children. Perverted children, but still children. They small-minded, immature, simpletons. So they think there is not only deep, philosophical meaning, but also deep lore with pastel miniature horses. And they're such simpletons that they need someone who is not as stupid as they are to explain all this deep lore and complex concepts like "friends are good" and "being nice is nice" or "sharing is caring" to them.

I know someone who was kicked out of high school at age 20. They didn't want a 21-year-old man around sixteen year old girls, or someone who was legally old enough to purchase alcohol for his classmates. There was no chance he was ever going to legitimately pass his classes, he had no desire to succeed or excel or even improve enough to get a D instead of an F, so it was out with him.

I feel like the counselor looked at Chris and said "well this dude is loony tunes, cuckoo for cocoa puffs, off in la-la land. But he doesn't seem like a danger to anyone, just an underdeveloped tard.
