Containment Random Chris Updates

I guess I'm just highly skeptical that Akili's game is the first to undergo that kind of study, for all the horn-tooting in that article.

It's not. Retro games and puzzle games have been used to treat people with short-term memory problems for a while now. This is just the first application for ADHD specifically.

There have been a few studies that have shown the benefits of playing video games for many children and even adults with ADD/ADHD. But always in moderation. Many of the same studies have also shown that excessive video game playing can be detrimental to those same people. And they definitely don't support playing video games 20hrs a day and believing you yourself are actually a character from these games, or that there is a parallel reality where fictional characters from games and media are real. Any mental health professional (or anyone who isn't nucking futs, really) can tell you that kind of belief and lifestyle is totally bat-shit loony toons.

Chris liked a tweet by Courtney talking about harassment and sending NSFW shit. The irony.

All professionals that have "treated" Chris have ignored his problems and claimed he was ok. Sadly mental health problems aren't taken seriously.
