I looked at their tweets all the way back to early October before I got bored and clicked away, and couldn't find a single political post - and the closest I could find was just a retweet of a post making fun of Cuties, so they seem alright to me.
They aren't even a dangerhair, their hair is brown - the character in their background isn't supposed to be them, I think it's just from a show they worked on. I think you're overreacting just a bit here...
