Megathread Random Thoughts & Questions - ADF

And now we have a Mexicano and Argentino holiday today. Phil being the lazy retarded racist pigman he is would more than likely celebrate the Mexican one rather than the Puerto Rican and Argentine ones but again, this requires Phil to not be a stupid bigot and actually know about said holidays.

In other news Spudman Phil is also missing a Tranny holiday too. But what do you expect from a racist dago man like Phil?

I know this isn't a facebook update but I'm not really sure where else to put it. It's a letter from Phil's dad basically giving his side of the story.

We must archive this for the prosperity and benefit of future generations. Seriously, damn good job finding this. We know so little about Angelo other than Hooves' lies, so if anyone else can find anything written, said, or spoken about Angelo, please speak up!

You know, when I think about it, Phil is surprisingly a lot like Chris, and not just because they're both fat, crossdressing autistic weirdos.

Both of them tend to think in terms of absolute black-and-white stereotypes. Chris has decided all men are brutish Neanderthals and thus bad, while all women are perfect and nice. Phil has sort of done the same thing. All white cishet men are bad, and all non-whites and non-straight people are poor, oppressed little victims whom he needs to support.

Of course, Chris has better social skills and is actually more likable (or, at least easier to feel sympathy for) while Phil tries so hard to not be a white middle class suburbanite that he willingly lives under a bridge, covered himself in shitty tattoos and lugs around bondage gear just to show off his sexual perversions because he can't stand the idea of anyone not knowing. But at the end of the day, they both think in terms of absolutes, missing subtle nuances and complications.

As you said, they are autistic -nuance is very difficult for autistic people.

You know, I'm increasingly wondering how much of Phil's behaviour is play acting and how much of it he actually believes. I mean, he seems very susceptible to suggestion and trying to please or conform to other people. So much of his crap is about trying to get attention, but it think after a while he's begun to believe some of his own bullshit.
You basically just described Aspergers. A defining feature of the disorder is the inability to separate external experiences from internal ones (which is why they get "overloaded" and have outbursts). It's why obsessive hobbies (which isn't a problem by itself) morph over time into "identities" or "lifestyles", and certain subcultures really feed into it (pagans and furries are two examples I've had experience with).

Additionally Aspies have difficulty with social schema, and have black-and-white reasoning, so "vampire role play" is the same as "literally vampire". So Phil only understands social interaction as though he learned about it from a book, and so he's learned from the book that anything that makes him feel bad is "oppression", and since he "feels oppressed" it validates his idea that he must be part of an oppressed group. And in his defense, Aspies have difficulty with emotional regulation, so even if he's "absorbed" as emotion from an external source it feels very intense to him. Like if you read a moving story about a transperson, you'd know you were just empathetic, but to him he "felt" those emotions and therefore he must be trans.

As a note I find a lot of middle-class tumblr people seem to think that the way to prove you're "really" trans is to be suicidal and in poverty. Like that transness is directly proportional to oppression. (If you think this, you don't understand how statistics work.)

Instead of wasting his money getting ugly tattoos, phil should start going to a tanning salon. He'd make for a more believable trans-latinxxx womyn with bronzed instead of pasty white skin.

He should go black instead. It'll be cheaper and less painful than laser removal, he'll have better job prospects, and there's a small chance someone might actually opress him due to the wrong reason for once.

But seeing as how Phil hates darkies, this'll never happen.

That's what he is diagnosed with, he used to play it up quite often but when Autisim got more attention he focused on that, and to be honest in this case I think that's a more accurate diagnosis. He hasn't got a theory of mind (well a functional one at any rate) he try's to cobble together a functional identity from what he feels gives him what he needs right now that doesn't feel alien to him. Growing up he was sheltered and told he was special and pandered to on some levels and he's trying to recapture that.

That's his main problem to be honest, Phil is incapable of personal development on a very fundamental level, and is incapable of change that's outside of his current understanding if given stimulus he isn't happy with he retreats back into his shell and refuses to learn from it, but when he does find something he can't understand but wants to he subconsciously try's to place himself in that situation to understand it and when he does that an finds something useful he internalises it and from that point on can only really understand it from that point of view / emotional / situation he was feeling at the time.

What does Phil think of Cuba? The flag is a "recolor" of the Puerto Rican flag, it's a communist, and it's "Latinx." It's the closest place in reality to Australatina.

Additionally Aspies have [...] black-and-white reasoning,
I figure those symptoms aren't universal, but are overall tendencies that a person with the syndrome can have in varying degrees. Phil definitely seems to have both traits in abundance.

What would Phil do if someone gave him a bicycle IRL? Would he start dragging it with him everywhere like some kind of security blanket, or leave it out somewhere on purpose to ensure it gets stolen (for sympathy points), or actually try to ride it?

Take a lot of photos around it, half sitting on it, and bragging about how much of a master cyclist he is on Facebook. It would get 2-3 likes and a comment from some person taking pity on the unpleasant potatoman.

It'd probably get a few more pity-likes from all the people he'd unnecessarily tag in the comments.
