Megathread Random Thoughts & Questions - ADF

I'm honestly surprised that Phil hasn't created an account here and tried to defend himself or otherwise confront Kiwi Farms now that his sub-forum is publicly visible. Other lolcows have done it, even Chris did at one point.

I'd normally assume it's because Toren is keeping him on a tight leash, but as far as I can tell, Toren is becoming less and less involved in his life these days (correct me if I am wrong on that one) and Phil is a bit of an Internet Tough Guy and a massive attention whore.

You'd think he'd try and come here by now, or at least try to white knight himself posing as Xochi or one of his other imaginary friends.

When it was just a solitary thread, Phil posted as a chp officer to try to get us to stop. I think it was Hispanic hitlermobile or something.

I'm curious how Phil intends to lie about having his dick chopped, when he lives with Toren. If the surgery is a lie, Toren can't help but have seen the posters on the wall with the autistic countdown, and Phil's blarting about it all over social media. Yet so far I don't think Toren's said a thing about Phil's apparent upcoming surgery.

Toren has called Phil out on lies before. If the surgery is indeed bullshit, Phil's taking some pretty big chances that his drunkard housmate won't post something that shows the whole charade up for what it is. Surely Toren wouldn't go along with such an idiotic bullshit story?

I don’t think he’s ever openly called him out, though. I think he knows that such a course would be the absolute last resort. Not so much because he’s scared of Phil kicking him out, but because he knows that in the feels-not-reals troon culture, being known as someone who’d do that would lose him a lot of potential marks. It would also leave him open to having the same thing done to him by anyone smarter than Phil.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he used it as potential blackmail material.

***BREAKING NEWS FROM PORTLAND OREGON***

Phil's underwear was hung out to dry outside, reports of a foul odour persisting and sales of nose peg's are going through the roof locally. More at 11.

Okay, so, whatever course of action Phil takes, he's going to make an idiot of himself. But not only has he failed to convince us that he's had the surgery, but this whole episode has also exposed that none of his supposed friends and allies actually give a flying fuck about him. So does anyone else think we're due another suicide threat in the near future?

It'll probably come soon.

This is as random as it gets: I fell asleep after reading this sub and dreamed Phil had somehow come into possession of a house somewhere in the SF Bay Area that, because he isn't the sharpest lightbulb in the toolshed, he was selling for a stupidly low price. I wanted the house, and met him there with only gratitude that he hadn't had time to shit it up with his "daughter bike" or by taping his drawings and flags all over the walls. I was very careful to call him "miss" so as not to set him off, because I wanted neither bouncing nor squeaking, just the damn house, which I was in fact able to acquire for the stupidly low price he'd set.

It's amusing that ADF and others like ADF like using the communist symbol, despite thinking "communism = everything is free and none have to work."

The communist symbol is a hammer that symbolizes industry, united with a sickle that symbolizes agriculture -- workers uniting. "Workers of the world, unite!" is an old communist motto.

You're so old fashioned. In the current year, "work" means drawing LGBT anime characters, writing e-begging proposals, and conscious-raising!

What's even odder is this almost fetishism they have around "The Working Class" that they idealise with that of very old late 1800's and early/mid 20th-century Factory workers, most of the western world hasn't got that kind of working class any more, hell most of them wouldn't work in such an environment.

And even at the time, the Communist message didn't take root in most nations, because the Commies (and related ideologies) didn't really catch on with the working masses and the main issue most people have with is this "If I earn it I own it" and that's hard-wired into the human condition so it the will to defend or more rightly assert your right of ownership.

Hell if anything the Commification of the Unions got gutted in the UK and parts of the world that have the same mindset, in the 70's an 80's in the UK the unions got gutted (apart from one or two, the big one was inside London being the RMT) because a lot of militants caused major downtime and disruption to the UK and to peoples lives at really intimate personal moments.

Back in the 70's there was the "3 Day Week" where a lot of council workers downed tools and only worked 3 days of the week, this lead to a lot of problems such as rubbish piling up in the streets this wasn't lead by a vocal but small and powerful groups associated with the hard left, and they didn't care about the problems it caused for everyone who wasnt them mostly other workers that arguably lead into a harder and faster transformation of the UK economy that hurt them more in the long run.

This is reflected in two key areas in the UK at any rate -

1) People Services being renamed as Human Resources, the distinction is subtle but is phrased in such a way to make you less likely to do to them unless it's serious.

2) The concerted effort to neuter and dislike of unions in newer growth industries, In the UK the average IT worker is between 25 - 35 for non-entry level positions, i.e. people who where born into the generation that either worked in an unionised industry or suffered because of it who are not union members and if anything are mildly anti-union. I mean seriously for a second imagine if IT was unionised how long could the majority of places work for without something as basic as password resets? let alone systems that are flakey not being supported or monitored.

I could sperg on about this but I won't, what I will say is as a business owner is "My HR Person is a woman called M, she is 55 likes Yorkies, recalls people Birthdays and dislikes the Bradford Score and agrees with me that we shouldn't use it, and buys muffins and chats with the people she works with proactively and heads off most problems before I am even aware of them and is genuinely liked by them people she works with" If you find a PS/HR person like that do all you can to keep them as they are worth their weight in fucking Platinum.

Anybody have a clue what started Phil's newfound fascination with the Goth subculture?
