What's this dude going to do at like age 40? How is he going to feel when he wasted his life raging about cartoons?
Like I can understand he's passionate about animation, and a lot of people are but often time those people are artists who really apperciate all the work that goes into every second of animation. Like this man isn't an artist, does he even have any marketable skills? He doesn't have the humor or charisma to be as successful as the Nostalgia Critic or Angry Video Game Nerd. Does he have any other hobbies other than raging and sperging out? Like I love animation because I draw and I understand that no matter how shitty a cartoon is there are always a lot of wonderfully talented and hard working people on it but like this guy just seems to like it because he never grew the fuck up.
Now I wonder if the reason he likes animation so much is because he probably has autism and may have trouble reconizing faces so maybe he could never get into more adult live action because he couldn't tell who people were? Just a theory, I have trouble with faces too so sometimes it's hard for me to pick out specific people in a movie.

I'm confident it likely comes from this unnecessarily growing mob mentality that anything live action is cheap BS - which is a lie; otherwise, nothing currently on TV or the internet that isn't animated would be popular, or better yet, praised for being actually good and stuff.

Most of the live action stuff I watch is movies, TBH with all of you (only because, yeah, it's not good/healthy to watch and obsess over cartoons, unless you're doing something in the animation career field, and even then!...) - but that's also an example of live action; something I fear Entard does not care enough to touch at all because of his shitty worldview and these all but unreachable requirements he aims to impose, just because he thinks he knows shit - he just... doesn't.

Has anyone here read any of the reviews Mr. Enter has gotten on TV Tropes? I think some of them are worth talking about since they've gotten a lot of attention by the Enterbots.

I've read some of those reviews, myself (they were quite constructive, IMHO... especially for a place that spergs over ponies like TV Tropes does!)... And this is despite the fact that those are opinions of the guy - It's like no one can have an opinion of the guy, as much as it is justified to prevent hug-box creation for oneself.

Can someone recommend a good place in the timeline to get started with this guy?

I recommend reading The Enter introduction thread. It gives people a good summary of who he is and what he does. I'd also check out the reviews that people have written about him on TV Tropes and watching some of his more controversial videos like the Troll and April 9th videos to get a good taste of what the guy is like.

I like to think of him as sort of this Benthelooney like figure who whines and bitches about childrens cartoons who happens to have an out of control fanbase. He's especially obsessed with SpongeBob, Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon, Family Guy and Teen Titans Go and never shuts the fuck up about them.

MrEnter posted a new DeviantArt journal about his thoughts about higher education.

(Also, I'm thinking of an idea that we should make a thread for each DeviantArt journal he makes just like what we did in the GK subforum, so please let me know about this)

@Alan Pardew: It'd be a little too much, wouldn't it?

OK, buddy; you don't need to go to college. But you won't have no animation career. The only person I can think of who got hired at a studio without any college experience was David Feiss, and it took him about 19 years to get his own TV show.

So the main reason why Enter won't attend college is because he doesn't want to pay for it? Doesn't he make more than enough from the reviews he makes?
Also I hope he's not taking the internet's advice on college seriously.

So really, what is his alternative to not attending some kind of college, even a public state funded one? Living off his grandparents for the rest of his life, working on a dead end cartoon that will never get greenlit by a major network, and making shitty videos about cartoons he hates? I think that's a pretty pitiful lifestyle to maintain long term and I don't think he understands that there are trade schools and community colleges out there he could look into that won't cost him as much as going to college.

Edit: Looks like he sort of answered it.

If you want to know my financial situation. What I make from freelance writing allows me to at least live and eat and stuff and pay rent. 95% of my extra (spending) comes from reviewing. A good chunk of that goes into therapy, allowing me to beat my social anxiety and stuff. My insurance doesn't cover therapy (I actually do have insurance). I'd get better insurance, but it wouldn't put me in a better financial position. Not to mention that I shouldn't really over-draw (put a necessity on the tab of the internet funds. Therapy is a quasi-necessity).

@dollarpennypincher: I'm not sure whether it's a bad thing that he spends most of the money he gets on his own therapy.

And how much does he make freelance writing anyway? Can he link to something of his that has been published?

He posted a tweet regarding college again, apparently he wanted to go for animation.

Brovania Dump 1:

So I randomly decided to start digging up old MrEnter stuff. I started with Brovania, because I feel that ground is under tapped. Most of these have to do with his game, Epic! The Humorous RPG, two of them being negative.

http://www.roblox.com/User.aspx?ID=2125952 (A virtually blank Roblox account. Very early account, being created on 1/31/2009. My guess is that it was made for Let's Plays, but was abandoned)

Note: While poking around, I found out that he may have taken his name from a place mentioned in a Goosebumps book. Wow.
