So, this has been on my mind for quite a while now.
I remember back a long time ago when Irate Gamer was still a thing that people started making parodies of him. Not people who genuinely wanted to copy the "angry reviewing" style, mind you, but parodies that would poke fun at Chris Bores' flaws and exaggerate the many "staples" of his reviews. You know, people like Third Rate Gamer (aka the guy that should get proper credit for coining "Didn't they test this game before they released it?"), the Save State Gamer, Irritated Gamer, etc.
Why am I bringing this up right here? Well, I've been thinking of doing the same thing, only with parodying MrEnter's flaws instead. Irate Gamer and parodies of him may be no longer a thing, but MrEnter still is, and imho, I think the time is ripe to record some parodies. All that would be needed is a microphone, a video file of a media source that is the subject of the "review", and some basic video editing software (Windows Movie Maker should be good enough, though if you're "reviewing" a more copyright claim-touchy source, maybe it would be best to slightly alter the source's pitch and skew it a bit with slightly more advanced software). Maybe some basic MS Paint skills too. You don't even have to be good at acting or anything (if anything, any genuinely bad acting should add a pinch of "authenticity"), or even show your real face. As for a name, ehhh, well obviously I wouldn't steal TheMysteriousMrEnter's name, the name needs to be made obvious that it is supposed to be a parodic series, and "Mr. Exit" just sounds too unoriginal (and taken). Uhmmh.."The Straightforward Lt. Join???". I'm sure you can come up with a better name than that.
Before you say this act is "trolling", well, I don't actually intend on directly interacting with Enter or his rabid fans to provoke anything first. Just provide entertainment to potential viewers and such. I don't think the Irate Gamer parodists actually intended to troll Chris Bores himself when they set out to make their "reviews" themselves, just make their target audience laugh along. I will try to do my best to still behave and maintain a certain "code of honor" when doing parodies.
Well, what do you think? Is it worth it? I think I will start writing some scripts myself.
