The game idea sounds pretty interesting actually, a bit on the pretentious side, but interesting none the less. Though what really gets to me is the fact that the main character's only defining trait is that he wears a trench coat because... well at least it's not a fedora so I'll give him that.

It's similar to what people think being "racist" means. Racism is portraying an entire culture in a negative light, for example making black people idiots with exaggerated features. Calling a black guy a dick because he was acting like a dick isn't racist.

I'd pretend to be an Enterbot, I think

but we don't even live in the same country, so that's never going to happen
 
There's absolutely no chance of that. He lives in Western Massachusetts. I'm a Rhode Islander and I know the only parts of Mass. worth a damn are in the East; there's almost nothing west of Worcester.

Ignore him, like I do with any one I'm not familiar with in real life. Unless you mean I have to meet him and start up a conversation. Then honestly, I'd start off with some small talk and them work my way from there.
