Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

fixed that for you
In his own mind he really is putting out content and stuff people enjoy. It’s not as if he thinks he’s getting one over on the fans.

Let’s put it like this. Let’s say he was in better hypothetical shape and someone gave him a chance and hired him on to landscaping. Which while physically demanding can be very easy money for someone willing to do the job. So let’s say Chris is contracted to go trim some hedges for the day. It’s a job that takes time and is simple enough. Except for whatever reason Chris doesn’t feel like trimming the hedges but he notices that the yard hasnt been weed and feeded or treated for insects, so he’s going to do that instead today. When he gets questioned about it by the client he would explain that he just didn’t feel like trimming today because of stress and he noticed the yard needed treating so he went ahead and did that instead. In fact you should be thanking him he did that for you and pay him exactly what you would pay him for trimming the hedges. When the person explains they weren’t asking him for that or that they could do that much themselves he can’t wrap his mind around this and gets frustrated. While the Valium and Hormones have evened Chris out, I can’t imagine Chris full of testosterone from working outside and taking no meds for anger responding well to a disgruntled customer or empliyer.

Then again Chris ever getting a job that discomforts him even a little would never happen so moot point, but fair comparison imo.

I recently watched Forrest Gump for the first time. When watching it, I was thinking "Chris could've be and experience like this guy, stupid but dedicated"
Problem is Chris was sheltered and coddled too much. Mama was nice to Forrest and al that but when the schools were mean to him she just fucked the principle and got him to go ahead in life bullies or no. That is actually one critique I have if Bob, I do think he initially at least wanted more to protect Chris or thought he could get one over on the county and make a profit from doing it. Barbs hassling probably didn’t help but I don’t think she put the idea in head either. Having a special needs child was the best option for him, but he understood he could make the best of it. Maybe come out ahead based just on that anyway.

No. Forrest Gump was wise enough (and/or dumb enough) to simply go with the flow, and when things went his way he didn't question it or try to benefit more from it, nor when they went against him did he fight it and try to work around it or blame others for it. Because of this Gump had a life richer then 90% of the people who watched that movie.

Chris always looks to the selfish ideal. If something isn't of short term benefit or gratification, he can't be fucking bothered with it. Nor can he see the benefits of long term dedication. No amount of nurture could fix these flaws in his essential nature.

Something occurs. That evil milkman guy in the Message from Reginald Chandler video. Could that be the “Steve” behind the Sarah and Steve account? They already claimed to meet once at least. Not to mention there’s evidence Chris believes they have a role to play in everything. Maybe I’m grasping at straws here.

Will I get banned from this thread after what I did?

You should PM a mod with questions like that instead of asking in public, and my opinion may not be the same as that of a moderator, but I think not. You were warned, with a 1-and-only warning.

If you do it again and post about it here, THEN you will almost surely eat a banhammer. Wether from the thread or the site is up to the mods.

Digging holes is work. He probably throws the poor babies out in the woods.
That raises another question, does the surrounding area of 14BC happen to have a somewhat foul stench from possibly garbage, dead "pets", etc... laying around their front lawn/backyard?

It's been about a year since Patches died. That's really weird to think about. Doubt that Chris even remembers him.
Speaking of cats, how long do you think his newest one is gonna last? The cat literally named "baby".

Someone set up monetization for Chris's YouTube and tried to get him to make regular videos. But Chris was dissatisfied with how much he was getting ($80 after one stream)
What a fucking slob. I don't know how long that stream was or how it compares to people that make a living of that, but that looks pretty sweet. Specially since sitting on his ass playing vidya is what he chooses to do all day long anyways.

Is Chris somewhat homochromatic?

I've seen his eyes zoomed in (I advise not doing this, ever) and they're slightly different colors.

If you mean heterochromatic, then yes. In Chris's mind, it's one of his defining physical traits; the one feature of his comic self that's remained totally consistent for the last ten years is that he's drawn himself with one eye that's bright blue and the other one bright green. In reality, the difference is not nearly as pronounced as he thinks, and most people only notice it if they zoom in on a photo, as you did, or if they're talking to him in person.

I posted this already in the Robertchu thread but thought I would bring it here too to assure it a place in the canon as I don't think it is common knowledge, not in the Cwicki yet (and I don't have editing priviliges yet)....as I've said before, the Twilight-shipping cards I found to be surprisingly high-quality/high-effort work for OPL, especially compared to the cards from the Wall of Originals (I was imagining him going into Photoshop or whatever and arranging the text, card background, etc along with a poorly drawn or outsourced comic and TBH that seemed to me to be as much effort as he has put into anything, ever), but nope, they're not, they're generated by a very easy to use template online: http://latent-logic.github.io/TSSSF-Frontend -- so he's as lazy as he ever was.

The black dot on the upper left hand corner even indicates that all of them were so generated, apparently. This also goes a lot to explain why the Sonichus are labelled as "Ponys" rather than "Sonichus" on the left side with icons (I guess you can't make a custom category, unless you are a python programmer for fuck's sake.) I was also impressed that Chris managed to get a set printed, but no, the website describes how to do that too.

I still don't understand how the game is played, although the the rules are on the website, and there is a unwatchably cringey video by a rainbow shitting faggot about them, but I can't be bothered and it seems overly complicated and (obviously) autistic. I am still trying to ascertain as to whether Chris's cards are OP, broken, gay, lame, autistic, or what. I actually have the same questions about his Wall of Originals because I don't play the Pokemon either (although they seem, at a glance, to be horribly OP inasmuch as I can guess having played MTG like 25 years ago)

I read the rules and compared Chris's cards to the ones from the actual game's core set. He just copied all the rules and abilities from the original cards for his homemade ones, so none of them are overpowered or useless the way his Pokemon and Yugioh cards were. In fact, there's really no way for him to break the game in his favor, since the rules don't really work like that. The best he can do is put "this power cannot be copied" on nearly all of his cards, which is a relatively rare ability in the original game.
