No one within an intimate radius of Chris does anything unselfishly or without strings attached. Rocky is apparently more concerned about some kind of Heavenly Brownie Points than she is about improving Chris's situation.

Eh, she's incompetent, but she's definitely not dangerous. Anna's a shitty ass patter and even with Anna it's kinda debatable whether or not she's dangerous. You'd have to at least exceed the type of stuff Anna does to be dangerous, which Rocky doesn't.

She was apparently praised for her work in the past, so I don't think it's about being a bad pastoral counselor, per se, but definitely about being out of her league and not giving a damn.

Thing is, I don't think there are many people who genuinely hate Chris. There's a fine line between "hate" and "I really really really want this guy out of my life."

Chris claims he learned to read from the closed captioning on the TV, but most TVs didn't have CC built into them until the 90s and even than not every show was captioned, did Borb have a CC converter box hooked to the TV?
