Opinion changed: I now hate Sonichu
Reason: It's a rip-off of Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokemon
Wow such a genius observation like when I made the mindblowing realization that water is wet.

In other news, does anyone else believe that Chris’ recent meltdown over the redesigns were because he had health issues and just blamed it on what made him mad recently?

What happened to Sonichu Headquarters on Google? I saw people leaving reviews and shit a while ago, but I can't seem to find it anymore. Did Chris delete it?

At least on the surface, there seems to be something of a correlation between Barb's declining health and the uptick in contemptuousness towards others shown in Chris' USI.

What I'm wondering about is if this is basically him entering his teenage rebellion years at the age of 37 simply because Barb is no longer as capable of keeping him under her thumb as she once was. Even though that may have just meant her berating him on a regular basis, it could have been enough to keep chunks of his high-and-mighty ego in check to some degree. The less she does this, the more he feels like he's the center of the universe and that's what we're seeing in his Twitter posts, etc.

By no means am I implying that this is the sole contributing factor; he's always been an asshole when he thinks he can get away with it. But Barb has been a factor in keeping that behavior tamped down, and as she loses that control he's only going to ramp up the conceitedness.
Barb has never kept Chris under her thumb behavior wise. This is a weird theory that I've never understood the origin of.

Do we know why Chris dismantled his Lego CWCville in his old bedroom
I read somewhere (can't find it now) on the CWCki that Jackie made Chris take it apart (because it was childish I guess). Chris referred to that as "Hurricane Jackie" after, and said that CWCville "lives on in his heart" or something sappy like that. Chris may have rebuilt it later, but then the fire happened.

(@Alec Benson Leary may know more about this)

Also I wonder if the LEGO "Manchester High School" (the second one - the first was partly melted by the fire) is still around.

'Under her thumb' may not have been the most accurate phrase I could have used to describe Barb's influence over Chris, but she has been able to rein him in at times - at least to some extent. Having seen her shush him in court and watched how quickly (and meekly, though pouting about it) Chris complied, there at least has been some degree of deference on his part towards her when she tells him to knock his crap off.

In this regard, Barb was sort of like someone playing pinball, with Chris as the ball. When he was headed for the drain, she'd nudge the table and one of two things would happen: the ball would go back into play, or it would continue off into oblivion. The move wasn't always successful, but it was at least attempted.

Having said that, I don't for a second believe that she has - or ever had - him totally under her control. She doesn't, and never did. But, at least historically, she's been able to keep some of his behavior in check. She probably just doesn't have the energy to yell at him as much anymore, though, as her health declines.

One thing that runs in parallel with this that I am not discounting, however, is the change in the wëën / orbiter dynamic around Chris. He has way more enablers now than at any time in the past, the presence of whom likely emboldens him as far as standing up to (or at least ignoring) her, and her gradual slide into a dirt nap only makes that easier for Chris.

Rather than someone who prevents bad behaviour I'd say Chris probally learned some of his bad behaviour from Barb (Although she might help stop autistic meltdowns/inappropriate behavior like shushing Chris in court like you mentioned), things like the 'Wheeling and dealing' he does and more recently when he pretended to be in distress over the fanart he didn't like in an attempt to guilt the artist into removing it by the use of emotional blackmail.

I don't have any evidence but Barb comes across as a mother who would have refused to take any responsibility from Chris's bad behaviour as a kid and instead just say something like 'He can't help it, he's autistic!'.

Totally agreed, and those are actually some of the reasons I had in mind when I mentioned that I didn't see her decline in health as the sole reason why Chris is being more of a jackass lately.

There's no doubt in my mind that Barb really only disciplined Chris under two main circumstances: a) when he was getting on her nerves, or b) when she realized that letting him continue to be a little shit would backfire on her. Most of the rest of the time, she just couldn't be bothered and used the 'MUH KID HAS THE TISM!' excuse if she thought that she could get away with it.

When I saw him in person a few months ago, he looked like he was either about to cry or that they were completely glazed over. Is there any reason for that? Is it because of any meds he may have or lack of taking them?

Titty skittles and general mental decline.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but the concept of the Idea Guys could've been funny as hell if executed properly. Obviously, I'm not defending those assholes, but the general idea of giving Chris "managers" to help write the Sonichu story could've been hilarious. They had all the power in the world to give good entertainment, and instead they squandered it by being more pathetic than Chris himself and enabling his delusions to the point where things would've absolutely gotten worse if there wasn't intervention.

Back in the old days, I could see an Idea Guys saga playing out pretty harmlessly and fun, with a ridiculous character acting as a spokesperson for Chris and feeding him retarded story ideas. Quite possibly the worst trolls of all time, and a sad experience overall.

Everyone thinks that if only this type of troll happens to Chris then it will be epic. In reality Chris is way too unpredictable to know what kind of reaction he will have and what lore will stick. That’s why there’s so many fail trolls and today everyone who tries ends up just being a gigantic faggot.

"Un-Clit" is such a great band name. I need a bassist and a drummer from the Farms
