Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

I love the Chris era where he fucking taped his glasses together with bright blue tape. Between that, his non-existent jawline, the rugby shirt and the desperate attempt to hide his ever-thinning hairline that is receding, he couldn't look any dorkier if he tried.
That wasn't blue tape, it was a piece of CRAYOLA FUCKIN' MODEL MAGIC.

Would Chris ever gen a tattoo of Sonichu or his hubbys anywhere on his person? I know for some married people, they get a tat on their ring finger.

Despite all his newfound identity posturing, at the core, Chris's views on womanhood and manhood comes from his giga-boomer parents who used to sit him in front of the TV to watch 60s sitcoms while they had crusty geriatric sex on a pile of Goodwill crap. He was probably led to believe that tattoos make a woman look vulgar and masculine, and that they're only for drunken sailors.

Also, he'd do like ADF did in his extended tattoo phase and bring in his own drawings, then insist the artist do them EXACTLY like that with zero changes, and shoot down any offers to make the design more palatable for a tattoo. Basically, it would be one of his shitty doodles but on his arm.

That would be really interesting. As we all know: Good tattoos aren't cheap and cheap tattoos aren't good. Would Chris shell out for a real artist or go to a scratcher?

In any case, that crazy woman already beat him to the punch and got the True and Honest shitty scribble. I'd love to talk to the artist who did that one.

A permanent, life-altering decision? Of course not, Chris would cheap out and go to some guy who can't draw a straight line and slinks off half way through your tattoo to smoke a bowl. Chris only splashes the cash when it's on toys that he won't care about in a month.

And we can all blame his parents for this.

Naah, Bob at least tried to rein in some of it till Chris wore him out on that. Sure, they spoiled his ass as a kid, but Bob gave more of a shit when he discovered his spending habits.
I thought we should blame his mother?

Not sure if her death would be celebrated or the fact that a new saga begins immediately afterwards. Bob's death was more respected than celebrated, and that was by the trolls.
Then I wonder what will the trolls do to Barb if she drops.

We should blame both of them. Even though Bob tried to correct his spending habits when Chris became an adult, he’s still just as accountable as Barb for letting those habits grow in the first place.

I think Bob also gave Chris a template for unwarranted self-importance. Whenever you listen to audio recordings of him, he drones on and on about his life and accomplishments without ever letting the other person speak or asking questions about them.

I know children of narcissists tend to pick up those traits, but I don’t think Barb is completely to blame.

Yeah, Bob was no saint either. He got his son on the tugboat instead of teaching him about work ethic. This allowed Chris to just live in his fantasy world and avoid responsibility.

The whole thing about Bob knowing Chris could make more money off the tugboat than a real job is just cope, in my opinion. Otherwise why would he have Chris go to PVCC for the CAD certificate?

A sense of accomplishment?

I wonder how Bob felt when PVCC sent a letter informing him that his son was suspended. I'm surprised Bob just didn't do like he did during Greene Elementary and just move to another college in another county. Pretty sure Bob threw his hands up and just let the tugboat do the rest.

Hmm...maybe he wanted Chris to have a consequence for his actions? I can't imagine a dad being proud of their son carrying around any form of the attraction sign (especially since it didn't/wouldn't work)

If Bob regrets Chris being born, then he's redeeming.

Guys, I think Chris was telling the truth when he claimed he was descended from royalty.
