I think that's part of the issue, Chris has always had an inflated opinion of himself which lead to the big shock to his ego when he found out no girl wanted to date him and instead of feeling it could be something to do with him he came up with excuses like "All the pretty girls are already paired up with some jerk, thus leaving me with none to choose from" so it wasn't the fault of him or the pretty girls but it was the fault of SOME JERK.

Because not all bronies look like or act like Chris. I've been around them up close and sure I've seen ones that you could call Chris lite or even worse than him (downies in wheelchair tarded) but for the most part lose the pony clothes and junk and they'd look almost normal
