I just completed the longest captcha of my life to get back in here, but at least I finally got in using Tor and the Brave browser made that part easy. It's good to be back.

Mainstream media is covering the shutdown of Kiwi Farms. There are articles on NBC, Buzzfeed, and CNN. A redditor said that Chris was mentioned on MSNBC. I haven't seen a clip of it though. Here's the description from Reddit:

I’m watching the news and they just started talking about KF and mentioned how it started by laughing at Chris and how it was called CWCKI Forums. They even said his name correctly and didn’t assume his last name is Chan. It's been speculated that Chris may have also had some weird chromosomal shit that makes him a weirdo besides just the autism, and even though I'm not a medical I don't think it's that outlandish of a theory.

Chris has way more than just autism.
Most autistics aren't that far behind the general population in any general life accomplishment. They are usually behind only a few years and it's usually in only one or two areas of life.
Chris has regularly shown issue after issue to the point where he is multi-decades behind the general population in some areas and behind in general across the fucking board.
That's getting pretty close to problems like Genie (the feral child) had when she became an adult woman. They flat out stated in Genie's case there is nothing we can do to increase her development further. She missed out at such crucial junctions that she can not at any age reach specific goals commonplace in the regular population.
You can speculate chromosomal, but I think Chris was actually abused by Barb.
I don't think there was any babysitter. I think Bob was still off having a life at times and Barb was stuck at home with a screaming autistic Chris and she could no longer help herself before she stuck him under some floorboards for multiple hours a day.

Just some tips if you're new to using Brave and Tor like me:

• The connection to Kiwi Farms is going to be slow even when it's working. If you get an error message that says the site isn't accessible, don't hit reload. Wait a little while and it might just load on its own.
• Logging into KF may require a really long captcha. The first one had me identifying so many crosswalks and fire hydrants that I thought it was broken. It eventually decided I was human and let me in.
• Closing the private Tor window logs you out, so be careful about what windows and tabs you close.
• You may get a network error when posting. Before attempting to post again, make sure it didn't actually go through just fine. Otherwise you'll double post.

Would it be safe to assume at this point Chris is just being held in medical or with restrictions until a bed is available at whichever group home (or otherwise?) has been chosen for him? I know location has not updated so he absolutely hasn't moved but I would assume he may face restrictions after it is decided he is going somewhere communication is heavily monitored. I guess the other possibility is he threw a fit at Kengle's ridiculously demanding letter and silently cut him off; meanwhile may be in communication with someone who does not share their letters online because of shit that'd get wide disapproval or something?.. No one has had letters returned, so..

I wouldn't say Chris was abused by Barb. "Neglect", "negligence", and "incompetence" are the words I would use. Bob and Barb were too old to raise another child and too stubborn to actually learn how to raise an autistic child. That was a job TV and the schools could handle. Then when the school wanted to put Chris in a special school for autistic children Bob freaked out thinking they were going to send Chris to one of those old time madhouses where people would take tours to gawk at people. He didn't want to be told his way of raising his son by parking him in front of cheap cartoons and bribing him with toys to talk wasn't working. Whatever damage Bob and Barb did to Chris in his childhood wasn't abuse but more stupidity, laziness, and not knowing what they were doing but being too stubborn to actually accept help when presented the chance.

There are plenty of options for where Chris is being held within a facility.
They have various degrees of regular activity, they have isolation, medical. I'm more curious about the stipulations on where he is being held more than location.
See in prison you have privileged and non-privileged mail. Privileged mail is unable to be censored and no one has the right to stop it from being sent out as this breaks constitutional rights. Non-privileged mail can be heavily censored to the extent needed to keep the idea of harmony within the prison. If you obviously let certain material through, a prisoner rages, attacks other people, goes against their rights (prison is liable). In privileged mail if the same thing happens the other party is liable (lawyer, ACLU, etc) if any content enrages the prisoner and he causes chaos.
Censored mail also comes with a civil right clause that both parties will be notified of the censorship. Since none of our feeler guys trying to send mail in have received a "censored mail response letter". We can assume this isn't the case because this is a federal law.
Which leaves us with one avenue for clues.
Chris could in a very real way still be in a prison, but under the care of an inpatient facility of some kind already (an agreement has been made that Chris is their patient, but temporary under the custody of said prison).
Inpatient facilities have much different rules, if anything in a letter could disrupt the harmony of the patients treatment. They have every right to deny you receiving mail or phone. Because you are no longer a prisoner, you are a ward of the state and the state can go to any lengths to prevent you from harming yourself or others. If the judge says "Chris must adhere to the strict guidelines of his therapy to complete probation" sorry Chris, better hope you get a good therapy team, because he will have to listen to them. A ward of the state can have increasing lengths of time added to their stay.

I'm not going to draw every single example, they are numerous and very regular. They were happening for years and they were assuredly there during Chris' youth.
Bob's ultimate sin in this tragedy is pride. He refused to believe he made a retard son and refused any avenue of change. It's clear as day to anyone who has watched Bob that he was just very ignorantly trying to protect his family.
Barb's sins are much much darker than some ignorant redneck.

exactly, early development is more what i'm concerned about though. As we are all aware Chris early years are plagued by his muteness and other such issues. I don't think we have really definitive proof of his overall development.
I'm not saying he was literally BDSM style forced to be kept quiet or kept still (like Genie was, poor girl). I just mean that's the sort of things kids don't forget and would be considered a critical point in development.
Heck everything is a critical point at that age.
I digress, Barb had obvious issues from Cole's own statement.
Barb also went into menopause very shortly after Chris' birth (within a handful of years). Drastic hormone fluctuation worsens such mental health issues.
I don't think it's a stretch to say very real abuse happened form Barb and Bob's lack of confronting family issues did not help.

Additionally some Captcha's will just straight up not allow you in. If you go to the menu on the right next to the broom, you can click 'New Tor ciruit for this site' which seems to be able to re-roll for a more favourable captcha or none at all.

In what amounts to a weird crossover, another site I use has been discussing KF after recent events.

I actually got to read someone arguing about Chris - that even if she [sic] raped her [sic] elderly, unwell mother, KF is still worse because of the 'stalking' of Chris.
