Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

I forgot the kitchen was upstairs, I have never been in a house where the kitchen was upstairs, that is just strange. It does however give me an idea for the next house I build in The Sims.

How badly do you think Chris will freak out when he goes into renew his ID and finds out that if he wants a federal ID that will allow him to fly he will have to list his legal name and put down his gender as male?

I am hoping we will see a classic style freak out.

Oh shit that's a good point. I wonder if Chris has Real ID now. Apparently in Virginia, you need to supply two proofs of residency, identity of who you are (like a birth certificate), any name change documents, SS card, and a current ID.

Since he changed his name to Christine while living at Branchland, I wonder if he even has the name change documents accessible. I could even see him scribbling out his first name on his birthday and writing Christine on it, but he might have lost that a long time ago.

lol he might be fucked come May.

Chris has traveled to Finland multiple times recently. He has a valid passport. He doesn't need any other ID to fly next month.

If his drivers license expires, he needs a real id no matter what. But he just needs a couple pieces of mail, like bank statements, to the address on the id.

I recently rewatched one of the videos where Chris was going on about his brilliant idea of "dating education classes" when it struck me how ironic it is that if he had been placed in special ed classes (or, better yet, a specialized school for the developmentally disabled), he would have been given instruction on interpersonal interactions. They would have taught him how to have a conversation, how to act in public, and in general how to behave like a normal person. He'd be able to apply those lessons to interacting with girls and maybe not come off as such a monster. Granted, it wouldn't be the "Gettin' Some 101" course that he probably wanted, but it would have taught him how to interact with other human beings without making stupid signs, throwing hearts on strings, or drawing homemade pornography and putting it online.

It's interesting to see that the thing he wanted (and needed) so much was precisely the thing that he (and his parents) were so afraid of.

Not Marvin, but that was a pretty popular phrase on social media at that time, I saw it a lot on tumblr circa 2009-2011. Chris likely was exposed to it on facebook in pro-LGBT groups.

Yeah, I think this is correct. I think Ivy fucked around in artsy / tumblr-esque circles at the time and it was some joke or reference she wanted to toss in there.
