Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

^^That pic is like one of those find stuff games they have on facebook. You get points for picking out stuff.

Atkins Essentials book 50 points.

Really seeing that book made me laugh, I mean it worked so well.

At the very least, it had a financial impact. If the financial impact was the only impact (hypothetically), then how would it have been worth more than its monetary value? Couldn't they simply go and buy that stuff themselves? And if they could go buy that stuff themselves, then they only gained $1k. So it would've been worth exactly its monetary value. (If it only had a financial impact.)
Yes and no. Even if not an emotional response, not having to wonder where your next quarter pounder and toys might come from is a major stress relief. That being said, youre looking into it harder than i am i think. I fold.

You're giving them exactly $1k (or whatever the package was valued at) worth of offsetting their worries. So that's exactly its monetary value. Like, without it, they'd just use the money they have for q-sands.

When did Chris get his drivers license? I guess it was around 2000 when he starting commuting from Ruckersville to PVCC since they didn't have door to door short bus service like he got from MHS

I noticed that in pretty much every picture of Chris going all the way back to childhood, his eyebrows look sad or something, regardless of his mood. Are his eyebrows just naturally like that?

Also, I wonder if the employees at the DMV talked about him and the medallion after he got that picture taken.

I'm guessing Barb was the one who bought Chris the Pro 200 for his 17th birthday after seeing an ad for it in a tabloid thinking she and Bob wouldn't have buy any more "Nintendo Tapes" for him, it probably burned in the horde

How large was the MHS class of 2000? If people didn't know Chris during high school, why does he expect them care about him now?

So, how often does Chris lurk the forums? I know he has a entire gallery of screencaps from them, but I wish to have some elaboration.

Well, his account here has been inactive since January, and though I can't be certain, I'm going to imagine that if he is still lurking the he doesn't log in anymore in a bid to watch us without anyone knowing...until he posts screencaps, but I don't recall him doing it in a while. But given Chris needs to know what people are saying about him on a daily basis, I wouldn't put it past him to be lurking under our noses, but he seemed to have turned his attention on the internet to eBay and Facebook as of late.

I think he just has a severe case of the stupids. In severe cases of the stupid, people affected by it seem retarded. Autistically retarded.

From this post:
Liquid was in the "VALEDICTORIAN" square, of course. I did re-scan a certain individual from the A's though.
I uploaded the only semi-relevant scans here:

Ok, his burger king joke...

Can anyone make sense of it? Why is he so specific about what the cashier looked like? When he asks if he is fat, is it him or the girl that says "no, chris is fat."? And what is it supposed to mean?

The way he adds "not cool" after his mock laughter makes me think that he is imitating a troll - or his idea of a troll anyway.

Didn't Marvin say that Chris expects the "trolls" to be worse off and gets upset when he finds out they have marriages/careers/etc, hence the accusation of fraud he once made?
I did something similar with the kids who used to bully me in school once upon a time. I would tell myself the kicks they got out of picking on me would be as good as life gets for them and that years on they would be standing behind a cash register asking me if I want fries with that burger.

When I look at the way Chris views the "trolls"(or rather anyone who is "better" than him), I feel like I'm looking in a mirror at what I could've become (and still try not to). While there are bullies I know who have found their way onto the wrong side of the law/flunked out/etc., there are some who might be considered karma houdinis. In any case, I know logic would dictate that I won't get anywhere stewing over these people, and not all antagonists get punished. So generally, what would a person do? Personally I'd like to imagine that the person would decide that enough is enough and do something about it(I did).

It's so easy for Chris to put down others because it makes him feel better about his own dissatisfied life. He has admitted that he is dissatisfied with his own life, yet he doesn't do anything about it. Chris is a man(child) of aspirations (or perhaps to some, "aspie-rations") to do(what he considers to be) great things, but he has no ambition. While the two are synonomic on a semanticly, socially the two are different ideas. Aspirations can be attributed to simply dreaming (e.g. getting married and fathering a child), while ambitions could be attributed to trying to make aspirations a reality(e.g. The Love Quest). The reason he isn't what I would consider to be ambitious is that he isn't willing to compromise in the face of failure, even a little. That is where Chris runs into his biggest roadblock: his inflexibility.

It has been stated time, and time again that Chris doesn't think he's flawed, or if he does his only flaw is his autism. That being said, it has also been stated time and time again that this isn't true because of a laundry list of reasons. I don't know if there is anything new that I could add to this discussion except that I've noticed a bit of a recurring theme in most his pratfalls that he's made over the years. Chris gets told by MLW that his attraction sign won't get him a girlfriend, he gets mad and tosses a curse-ye-hame-ha at her. Chris is told that he needs to get in shape and quit eating fast food all the time, but he doesn't and last year he lamented about high blood pressure(though he could've been trying to garner more sympathy). Chris thinks he has the final say regarding websites and public places run for him, disregards the rules, and gets the ban hammer. See, I think if Chris was a little more flexible, maybe he could overcome some of his flaws because I feel that his inflexibility is the root of most of his problems. Tangent over.
