This makes sense, but why would Chris expect Rob Wuss to give him valuable help? Is it beyond Chris's understanding that he should look for a better lawyer?
Rob Bell is a pretty top shelf lawyer for the region, and well outside of what Chris can afford. He certainly would be unlikely to get better.
And he is pretty unlikely to have Rob Bell now. If he did, Bell would have already entered an appearance on the docket, which he hasn't.
I seriously doubt Bell would actually give him any advice in a case where he isn't representing him, because Chris is likely to misinterpret it and do something dumb instead, and Bell would just be setting himself up for an annoying, albeit frivolous malpractice suit.
