What is up with the ween gang on Facebook (Waterbrain, Mahan, et al.)? I saw them commenting on the Facebook profiles of various cows, and I'm confused what is it that they want.

Sorry if this is not the right place to ask, I only posted this here because they were active commenting on Chris' profile once (IIRC).

It's called Kengling, after Kenneth Erwin Engelhardt, who basically personifies it.

As to what they hope to achieve, it is a mystery.

Maybe they just gotta catch 'em all.

I don't know, the motivation seems pretty clear to me.

We spend a fair amount of time watching and discussing lolcows. They get a little bit more of a first hand view.

I think its more than that, they either want to be the ultimate white knights or they want to do be the ultimate ween by getting into a lulcow's inner circle. It's hard to know which and sometimes it seems like one and other times the other.

They support him emotionally and financially, so they get to talk to him. It's not so much a friendship so much as Chris is obligated at times to talk to them and then at some times tolerates them. Basically they're good customers. Whether he actually likes them or not is irrelevant. I think they like their status as not part of kiwi farms.

Is it strange that the thing I want most in terms of new Sonichu content is to actually see Christine's mutant selfcest babies?

[Serious] Is there a thread on the forum dedicated entirely to shit posting about CWC? If not, can we start one?
It was called "What if?" and it was killed because the autism grew too radioactive even for Disco. Hardcore shitposting is contained in the Inner Circle, where only the most experienced members can access it. Either they've developed an immunity to autism, or they've received a fatal dose already. (Hint: it's mostly the latter.)

I'm a little down the recent poll on Chris's "Yep, I'm On TV!" was closed already, though I supposed I would've voted for that stupid Sonic contest anyway (given the majority that did). Not like anyone needs my input on the matter.

Discussion of how much Bob knew about trolling in the "Worst Thing Chris Has Ever Done" thread got me wondering about some stuff. I think he almost had to have put together that there was some organized plot or scheme to fuck with Chris, but maybe I only think that because I know there was.

1. Back in the hayday of Chris getting trolled, how much did Bob rely know? I always got the impression that Bob actually listened to Chris when he talked about stuff and I'm sure that he talked about it, but Chris is such an unreliable narrator it would be pretty difficult to parse out what was real, what wasn't, and what was exaggerated/distorted.

2. Even if Bob took it all in and had perfect knowledge of what was happening to Chris, would it be reasonable to expect him to pick out an online troll conspiracy from all the stuff Chris tells him? I'm sure Chris has so many conspiracy theories and wired encounters over his life that it all just gets lost in the background noise at some point.

3. I guess the biggest question is at that time, how much crazy shit happened to Chris that was not troll related, and how much did he get picked on by normal, real life people?

I think people overestimate how much Bob and Barb knew. From our perspective, there's shitloads of media on Chris. Days worth of audio recordings and videos. Huge quantities of discussion and documentation over many different forums, and also, of course, the cwcki itself.

While some important details filtered through to Bob and Barb, it's nothing compared to our experience of the situation.

So keeping this in mind, I think Bob heard quite a few stories from Chris about how he had an internet girlfriend. And then a few months later, some whining about how she was kidnapped by Clyde Cash or something. I don't think he took these stories seriously, and he probably couldn't recount too many details about the current girlfriend at any one given time.

I don't know, she's from Australia or something? Something about bush fires? Whatever you say, Christian.

I doubt it. I don't think much of the trolling affected Bob directly. And honestly, it barely affected Chris materially. If Chris wasn't getting grifted monetarily and if he wasn't in harm's way, I don't think Bob cared that much.

There were a few, big incidents that we know about. If it didn't make a big splash to the point where we heard about it, it probably isn't very important. Chris will bitch about the big incidents for years to come.

That all sounds pretty reasonable. Clown shirt era Chris always seemed to me like someone who would just sperg out at Bob endlessly if they were in the car together or just hanging out at home. I'm sure it all just kind of overwhelmed him and washed over him after a while

In the Christmas videos which were in 2004 I already had a feeling that Bob had already desensitized himself from Chris and his antics which I can't blame him for at all. He was forced to listen to Chris talking about his love quest, Sonichu and all of his other interests on a daily basis and by the time the trolling started I think a lot of it probably went over Bob's head. The times he took a proper interest seem to have been when Chris's online activity directly affected him such as the house videos risking his security at home or when the phone would ring off of the hook with prank calls (which led to Bob using JenkinsJinkies to invite trolls to a face to face with Bob at Burger King).

In regards to his obvious dislike for the Game Place and Megan it probably stems from Bob's knowledge that before he joined the Game Place Chris was never in any online trouble whereas after he got banned all the trolling began. It's easy to see why so many people felt sorry for Bob, imagining him spending his remaining years zoning out his family's nonsense while trying to get some peace is a sad thing to think about.

Did Anna die or something? Unless I've missed something, it seems like she's pretty much fallen off the face of the Earth and she hasn't really popped up since Chris-tran. Is she still in contact with Chris or does his new lifestyle conflict with her Mormon upbringing or something?

What happened to Impulse and the monthly Burlesque night? When this was revealed, it sounded like a big deal and that we were for sure going to finally hear some "non-Amiibo" news on a regular basis, and he had so much fun with Zora Nova that night, I thought for sure we'd have more updates featuring him bragging about touching women arms and shoulders.

But nope, back to non-extreme Amiibo updates only.

Impulse has regular drag shows, but burlesque shows are few and far between. My guess is he lost interest in the tranny dances after seeing real women. I wouldn't read too deeply into him making new friends that night. He took a picture with the performers that they were pretty much socially obligated to take. Other than those photos he didn't have a lot of interaction with them and I doubt they're in contact.

People who thought Impulse would lead to lots of Chris news usually overlapped with the crowd who thought he'd get banned from Impulse and there'd be a huge, hilarious incident.
