Politics is one of the few areas where Chris demonstrates relatively little brand loyalty. I think it's mostly cuz the whole thing goes over his head, so he doesn't have any motivation to give a fuck. I think he'd vote for Hillary given the opportunity exclusively cuz she's a woman.

Chris' understanding of politics is incredibly shallow. I suspect if he didn't automatically vote for Hillary out of female solidarity, he'd probably change his opinion with every campaign ad he saw.

He said he voted for Obama over McCain in the 2008 election because he "saw [himself] in Obama". Don't remember where he mentioned it but it was definitely a thing. So he's eligible to vote, and he does, sometimes (though Bob was still around then, so that could have played a part in it).

I think Bob would probably have pressured him to vote yeah. For a while at least, he seemed determined to mould Chris into a productive citizen.

What exactly was it about Chris in the Cub Scouts?

That whole organization is full of little dorks anyway, did he really belong there?

The staff found him too creepy to molest, so he was considered a waste of resources.

I don't really know much about the law, but I don't think they'd use the words "mad/insane" they'd use other words like "not mentally competent". Look up difference between insanity and competency on google.

It's not the autism card. It's just that insanity (or legal incompetence or whatever you're going for) is a pretty high standard. As long as you're conscious, your cognition largely functions (think dementia or alzheimer's) and you're not suicidal, it's hard to get declared something like that.

Chris is a goofy motherfucker, but still, being a weirdo isn't against the law.

ABL says that Chris doesn't remember Kacey, so probably won't remember Jimmy, and I agree, however that made me think, how far back do you think Chris remembers? I figure there's like a buffer amount of time in there but past that 'his mind is a blank' except for the aspects of his life that were significant enough for him to weave into his life narrative, though a bunch of things get bundled up together in his mind like, 'trolls' being a single nebulous entity

Doctors don't say that because those kind of things carry legal weight. Chris isn't legally incompetent, so a doctor would be very nervous about saying otherwise.

To be a troll sweetheart you need to be active/interested enough to keep him on the hook but still able to keep him at arms length. You also want to be demanding enough to make him do weird things.

Despite his professed love for them individually, they were basically variations on a common theme, and obviously, because they were fake, Chris wasn't able to "get to know" any of them. So they all blur together in his mind.

But the real people stick out in his mind. Gal-pals, Megan, etc. In a way, it speaks well of him.
