Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

The other day on skype I realized something about the movie The Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence. It may as well be about Chris.
The main character is:
-A fat, balding, middle-aged man with awful hygiene
-Still lives with his mom.
-Is obsessed with a work of fiction to the point where he bases his life around it.
-Is extremely intolerant towards those who challenge his views or don't conform.
-Suffers from an obvious mental disorder which he denies.
-Actively defies all forms of professional help
Only difference is that the guy in the movie is employed.
Here's what he looks like btw

244 Ameican dollars for some goddamn Legos???

lol!

They are plastic. bricks. Nostalgia be damned.
And they come from expensive machinery, not autistic fairy that shits them out. You might as well be asking omg how can clothes cost so much? they're just pieces of fabric!
That's not to say the prices AREN'T inflated out of brand recognition but there's real industry involved. And Capitalism.

Did I already post these years ago and they're just not showing up? If they're new, enjoy.

Jeff Daniels, Jeff Daniels, Jeff Daniels, and Jeff Daniels.

Apparently there's like a whole study Lego did thats studied in business schools. Basically the found out out they could go from charging $25 to $50 for the same set just by using Star Wars labeling. So over time Lego has tried to squeeze every last profit they can while relying on their branding deals to inflate the value of their products.

And we all know what a brand-snob Chris is.

Does Chris even care about the new Pokemon? I imagine he has a 3DS and can probably cut back on toys to spend 40 bucks for Sun and Moon. Hes always seemed to care much more about Sonic than Pokemon but I'm still surprised.

I think it took him a week or so after the new Skylanders game to come out before he started playing that. Maybe he's waiting for the next tugboat?

He has been buying Pokemon cards somewhat recently so I think he's still interested in the franchise. Maybe once he's done with Skylanders he'll check it out.

Wasn't there a TV Tropes page about Chris-chan himself? I remember an entry that mentioned the "Paranoia Fuel" trope, because Chris was apparently like "a giant mirror held up to the otaku community".

However, I tried looking at the history of the Sonichu page, and couldn't find entries relating to Chris himself.

Is it this one? https://sonichu.com/cwcki/User:Canine/TV_Tropes

Sonichu is the "Electric Hedgehog Pokemon" But there isn't anything Electric or Hedgehog about his Pokemon species name.

Soni is from Sonic the Hedgehog but that references speed and not electricity.

"Chu" is the Japanese sound effect for what we know as "Squeak", indicating Mouse. Not Hedgehog.

Pretty much sums it all up.

Yes, he complained about backwards compatibility issues on Twitter yesterday. Ya know, instead of the likelihood that he'll inherit the consequences of his late mother's reckless spending within the next year.

A few days ago (on the same day the new Pokemon game came out) Lego released a 'Lego Sonic' pack for their Lego Dimensions game. Chris has asked for 'the new Lego Dimensions packs' on his wishlist this year, but I'm surprised he didn't buy this for himself day one. It's Lego and Sonic combined in a video game, I thought it would be like heroin to him.

So what is a typical Chandler Thanksgiving like?

@Marvin, any insights please? Or any other Christorians.

Even if it's dismal and depressing
