Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

For real though?
Please let this be true
He'll have them done by the agreed upon delivery date.

They had no delivery date.

Fatty still likes Sonichu. He just hates work. Sonichu became work so he bailed on it for awhile. Possibly for years.

He'll come back to it eventually, and he'll eventually make new Sonichu pages. Enough to cover what he owes DStecks and more. But he would've done that whether or not DStecks paid him to.

(Or, well, Chris likes Sonichu more than he likes making Sonichu comics. That was always just one of the more accessible mediums to him. Making Sonichu in video games, like Minecraft, might end up being an alternative to comics.)

If you watch the video where DStecks talks about his donation, he is pretty clear that he didn't donate the money for Sonichu pages and actually hates Sonichu quite a lot.

From my understanding he did it to "troll" Chris, but gave him the $1000 via the etsy page

GodBear I hope so! I really have a weird love of the CWCville gang and their bizarre/boring adventures. :left:

Lol, was he stealing free papers or like the USA today copies they keep by the counter?

Not the free newspapers, but the local newspaper that costs money. People would leave them behind after purchasing, reading through them, then leaving them behind when they left. I have a feeling that Chris loitered and creeped around longer than wanted and took the first opportunity when people got up to leave to snatch up the papers, which, you know, is fucking weird. Like, yeah, the papers left behind will be trashed but I'm sure if Chris wasn't, you know, himself, and asked the workers there if it was okay(with an explanation to explain the odd question), they would have been okay with it.

DStecks also got some weird guilt complex over making these reviews believing he contributed to the rise of GamerGate (really) and since then he's become a full blown SJW (type 6 and 9 per Jaimas's bestiary) making reviews through an SJW lens as he's lost viewership since ending the Sonichu reviews. Shame, I actually liked those reviews back when they were coming out.

I know of restaurants that often leave newspapers usually by the trash or on the tables in case someone else cares to read it later if left behind for a while.

Me too, the internet can really change people's perceptions of themselves due to their actions.

Of course one of his Sonichu reviews diverts into him doing a story of a kid he knew in school that he and his friends made fun of him, especialy during some class project and he felt guilt after learning that he passed away shortly later. I think that was what led to the $1000 donation to Chris in the end.

EDIT: Here's the video in question, the story starts up 18 minutes in...
