Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

funny how summer last year Chris didn't mention the Pulse shooting once. He must have been too deeply affected to type.

did Chris finally fuck with the wrong guy?

I watched those videos and I don't get it. It sounds like some Christian lesbian used CWC's name and face to debate some pastor on gay marriage .

A question I've had for a while: How come Chris's drawing abilities never improved? He's drawn Sonichu for over a decade now with little to no discernible improvement. Consider:
  • "He's autistic." Autistic people can still improve abilities with enough practice, even creatively. Chris would probably have improved slowly regardless but he's had years to get better.
  • "He's dumb and lazy." There are a litany of things Chris can't be bothered to do with any degree of care, but clearly he does have passion for Sonichu and has produced creative pieces for over a decade. Even when he wasn't drawing comics, that passion was manifested in his (crude) clay Amiibos. He's just done 70 pages of the latest Sonichu with more to come. Comics are really the only productive thing he's put serious time behind over years and years but his drawings are still awful. I think anyone, including an abomination such as Chris, with that much time invested in a skill should show some demonstrable level of improvement.
  • "He holds his pen wrong." Yes, his pen grip is painful to even look at, but people without arms can paint by holding a brush in their mouths and eventually reach a degree of skill.
I know people will think I'm giving him too much credit but it's the duration he's been drawing that bugs me. Even the world's biggest brat doodling every day for ten years should have something to show for it.

He's already convinced what he does is absolutely perfect. Why would he get better?

To improve at anything you have to be self-critical, know your limitations, and experiment. When Chris draws anything he thinks it's a literal masterpiece and simply cannot be improved. So he will never improve.

Agreed, it really makes you wonder his level on the spectrum. Someone like Susan Boyle is hypercritical of herself and has turned that into perfection, while Chris paints the toilet Mr. Hankey Art and thinks he just made 10,000,000 dollars.

He's gotten more consistent over time. He's got a style that he's trying to reach, and he has gotten better at consistently drawing in that style.

The problem is that his style sucks.

Chris does have self doubt at times. He just doesn't have the mental tools to do anything useful with it.

Both his style and technique are terrible. His insistence on copying and pasting himself into already faulty drawings makes it all that much worse. Some people can do without formal training, but it does not show in their work. With Chris, the lack of formal training is apparent and makes his art look like a visual word salad subverted by incomprehensible exposition.

I think chris need proper guidance that only a group home would provide. They could keep him on a diet and scheduled regimen. I do worry that near 40 years of shitty life upbringing would be a daunting task to undo. Maybe an asylum would be better? Who does one fix such a pathetic broken human being?

I got a good group home for him

I know this is a shitpost, but to your credit, that is a damned good question, one we're really going to only see the answer to when the time comes.

This said, probably not.

He would fill the freezer with his sperm and the audists would think its ice cream and eat it. He would hog the TV and sing Britney Spears very loudly. He would flirt with any females and make them uncomfortable. He would masturbate in front of the PC. He would cover the walls with sonichu drawings, and he would plug in a keurig with an extention chord in the bathroom, because he is used to using the bathroom as a primary source of water because hoard, killing all the audists in a fire.
The same goes for the asylum too.

I know that this has been discussed before, but I just had the perfect idea for a movie about Chris:

The movie would be called CWC and be directed by the Coen Brothers. It would be a dark comedy version of Boyhood that chronicles Chris' life starting when he first starts college and undergoes the love quest, featuring the creation of Sonichu. It would then segue into his discovery by the internet and his various exploits with the trolls, chronicling his descent into madness along the way. The final act would feature his transition into Christine and climax with Blarms. Throughout the film, flashbacks to Chris' childhood would occur to show the moments that made him who he is.

Regarding the cast, I'd have John Goodman and and Frances McDormand, two Coen Brothers regulars, as Borb. The cast would be rounded out by Ann Hathaway as Megan, Jack Black as Michael Snyder, and TJ Miller as Clyde Cash. As for Chris himself, I'm thinking Jake Gyllenhaal going full Rain Man/What's Eating Gilbert Grape/My Left Foot in what would be the performance that wins him an Oscar for nailing the essence of the man that is Christian Weston Chandler. In fact, the movie would be critically acclaimed and go on to win several Oscars, being hailed as another Coen Brothers masterpiece on par with The Big Lebowski, Fargo, and No Country for Old Men.

I've always thought Jonah Hill would play the perfect CWC (look at him in Cyrus).

I can imagine Chris' story making a great Napoleon Dynamite/Royal Tenenbaums quirky comedy. I can just imagine an iconic shot of Chris and his parents standing in rainy airport with Mario hats on, waiting for a Myamoto who never comes (I know it didn't happen that way but I would dramatize it like that)
