"Stress" has been something he has talked about for years. I always wonder how this started for him. Did he maybe hear Borb talk about stress growing up? He seems to think it can literally kill somebody.
Stress can literally kill someone, the Japanese call it Karoshi. It's death from overwork so hardly likely to be a concern for Chris but it's not like he's ever been under any real stress in the first place.
he seems to be mixing up stress with anxiety.
as you said, stress is related to overwork, whereas anxiety can stem from nothing, if its Chronic.
i'd say Chris has some form of anxiety, due to lack of a job and hanging around the house all day. (i tend to get anxious if i spend a single day doing nothing, i can only imagine if that was everyday)

Though I'd put this here because I don't want to start editing and screw things up.

So one of Chris' 'friends' was Miranda Joyce Mitchell, and we assumed Chris was terrible at spelling a relatively easy word.

According to Chris, she was "a big brain of my Circle of Friends." Miranda, or "Maranda" as she was dubbed by Chris,[6] helped our hero out in his early website creating days by redesigning the CWC's PokéSite 2! logo.

Well, if you go to CWC's PokéSite 2, you see a post from her sister:

Hey Christian, This is Maranda Mitchell's sister. Ijust wanted to tell you, you are very good at drawing. Well see ya later. Megan Mitchell

Chris was right! The more you know!

i saw this in the cvs (drugstore) salespaper this morning:

Looks like something from Sonichu, doesn't it?

The style is very similar to Chris'. What happened to you, Shadow the Hodgepodge?

The kids are going to a Lego competition in the new American Dad! episode. What do you bet we'll see two threads about "Chris' reaction to this event"?

Worse yet, I don't think it's been confirmed that he watches that show.

Re: Christian Weston Chandler's Adult Chronicles.

... Even on his most tism-tastic days, why would Chris think lots of people would pay $49.99 to play a game about his day-to-day life?

i would totally play it if it were real time and had none of his fantasy elements

What I want to know is, why no interest in male peers? Not even in his childhood?

Im sure he didnt always think other boys were JERKS.

Many autistics that are kind of like chris tend to cling to other people like them who are into pokemon, yu-ghi-oh and other stuff. Why was Chris never like that? Just really hated other males?

I assumed he built up a bias against males early on, because a lot of them would likely be less tolerant of him and his 'quirks'.

Marvin's said a few times that Chris exaggerates his dislike of males but is more or less okay with them in real life.

Of course, right now Chris's life contains so few people that he probably doesn't have much opportunity to hate on dudes except in an abstract way.

Knife I meant when he was in high school and middle school. Instead of his harem of gal pals, why did he not ever seek out other geeky or special ed kids for companionship?

He had a couple of male friends before. Just not many. There was Joseph Herring and Joshua Martinez.

In high school and middle school especially though, the likelihood that groups of boys would pick on him is pretty high. Conversely, the likelihood that a group of girls would pity him and want to protect him (i.e. the one that did) is similarly high. He always used to talk about how 'in his opinion', women were more compassionate, understanding, etc. than men.

As for why he never sought out other special ed kids, he's also quite biased against mental illness. Having no autism was (and probably still is) a criteria for his potential sweetheart. He probably preferred the idea of hanging out with "normal" people as much as possible.

Well he was sold the idea that being mainstreamed instead of going to a special school for those with autism and other mental disorders was the best thing that ever happened to him so I imagine he took the decision to mean that he was different (aka superior). Sure, he had autism, but unlike those windows to hell he was able to attend a regular high school.

Yeah, this too. I really doubt Chris could handle the ribbing and the generally boisterous nature of friendships between teenage boys. Chris is too delicate.
