Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

Yeah, Idea Guy took some audio from Hyperdimensional Neptunia games, some audio of gun fire and jungles and stuff, and spliced them together and send it to chris - he told chris this was real audio from CWCville and that reinforced chris' crazy idea that cartoon world is real.
Or at least that's what I understood, only guy that knows for sure is Joshua Wise.

I could understand if it was just harmless RolePlaying. If IdeaGuy was letting Chris play out his fantasies in a harmless way, but IdeaGuy somehow convinced Chris that CWCville is being attack by Nazis and the KKK. Chris needs to be seriously committed to an institution if he's crazy enough to believe that Magic-chan was contacting him. I've seen the shitty Photoshop News screenshot IdeaGuy used to convince Chris about the Nazis. Chris seriously needs professional help.

You don't get committed to institutions for believing in fantasy worlds. See: religion.

Chris didn't fall for this because he's schizophrenic, he fell for this because he's stupid and has trouble spotting the signs of fakery. Chris was indeed skeptical at first. Idea guy just put in his hours until he hit on the right combo to get Chris to believe him. If you convincingly levitated in front of a devout christian and persuaded them you were Jesus, it'd be the same situation.

The key here is "convincingly". Chris is just fucking dumb, so the bar for convincingly is very, very low.

Oh boo hoo a manchild lives in a fantasy world. Is that really that much worse than surrounding yourself with any sort of interesting fiction? Yeah Chris is dumb, but he's pretty harmless. It's not like wandering around in the center of town preaching about CWCville and recruiting people for a cult where they plan to kill themselves to go to CWCville. The only person affected is Chris and maybe Barb.

When Chris starts attacking people in public because he thinks they're trolls or minions of Graduon that's the point he needs help. When he starts hurting people.

So someone who was dangerously mentally ill and not getting any treatment for it offs herself, and all of a sudden we're responsible?
But didn't this forum further compound this issue by mocking the girl? I really don't care either way I just find it funny that people object to mocking schizos yet this forum was shut down over suicide.

Chris fell for it because he probably doesn't know that such things can be easily faked.
Chris probably wants desperately for CWCville to be a real place. He didn't fall for this because he's stupid, he fell for this because he wants it to be true. So when Josh presented audio from "the real" CWCville, it finally told Chris that he's not crazy and that he actually has god powers and can create life.
TBH I'm surprised Chris didn't take to facebook and twitter to show off this "evidence" that proves to everybody else that he's right.

It's true he didn't do exactly that, but he did say on facebook and twitter multiple times that all this stuff was really happening, and he did go a game store and tried to get his friends to see my little pony characters flying around them.
What if Idea Guy told Chris that if he killed himself he could go to CWCville? Do you think he might have done it? I mean he believed that Crystal could be born if Chris fucked Sonichu's butthole in the comic, and Chris believed that and complied.

I don't know how. A few shitposts here and there and that's what drives someone to suicide?

yet this forum was shut down over suicide.

Well actually we were shut down thanks to a batshit insane person who smeared the owner's extended family as pedophiles.

Well Marvin did say that he believed Chris would jump off a building if Idea Guy told him to, and as deeply entrenched in this fantasy world as he is, I think it's very possible. Really, I think sending Chris to the Game stop he got banned from could have ended very badly. Who knows what else this guy had him do or planned for the future.

I noticed on this Sonichu page at the bottom, Chris mentions going to Cwcville; actually visiting it in the real world. I have to wonder if there was some plan in place that he thought would allow him to cross over some time in June of this year. Some sort of portal he could open via his new psychic powers from binaural beats maybe?

You can be both stupid and desperate, those two adjectives aren't mutually exclusive.

So when Josh presented audio from "the real" CWCville, it finally told Chris that he's not crazy and that he actually has god powers and can create life.
Josh presented a CWCville that's in a deep crisis, which Chris immediately believed when provided with evidence. Josh's main game was "Hey Chris, I'm from CWCville, and I can help you communicate with all your friends in there".

I think Chris knows that CWCville is an imaginary place under his complete control, but chooses to pretend that he is just part of it with no real "god" control, and when things get tough, his go-to solution is to retake godmode and steer things to his liking.

The reason I say this is because when things got tough in there, Chris tried to use his "Creator's Powers" to change things back to his happy place.

Take the Jamsta molestation stuff for example, Chris tried to use his "psychic powers" on the judge to acquit Jamsta, because "He shouldn't have to suffer through jail like I did" (paraphrasing), Ballzy told him that it didn't work, so he tried using it on the Jurors instead, Ballzy told him that it worked and Jamsta was freed, but that sparked Rodney King-style protest riots throughout CWCville.

In other words, Ballzy played a trick on Chris, he would come to him with horrifying event A, Chris would try changing it to happy event B, Ballzy tells him that this didn't work, and Chris's attempt to fix things ended up with the even more horrifying event Z.

Well Marvin did say that he believed Chris would jump off a building if Idea Guy told him to, and as deeply entrenched in this fantasy world as he is, I think it's very possible. I think Marvin's assertion is correct, Chris was highly suggestible throughout this whole affair.

And I don't know about the June 2018 thing (My last talk with Josh was Dec 19th), but even then, I expected Ballzy to be feeding him powers lore, because Chris, normally a confrontation-averse person, was feeling strangely emboldened to seek out antagonism with Cole. When asked how he would find Cole's address, he replied that he would be using his psychic powers.

I assume the June 2018 deadline was Ballzy's way of defusing that particular conflict for now, but we won't know for sure.

Does Chris know that @Marvin was the man in the pickle suit? It seems that Marvin is in contect with Chris, and is on at least friendly terms, but if Chris knew wouldn't he hate Marvin, like with Adam Stackhouse and Michael Snyder? How did Marvin get into Chris' life?

I'm not in contact with Chris. (Other than the occasional tweet.)

When people troll Chris, they frequently come to me for advice. In the process, they share details about what's going on.

I don't know if Chris specifically knows I was the man in the pickle suit, but I think he'd probably forgive me, a la Adam Stackhouse and the other rehabilitated cwcville enemies. I think he knows my twitter handle is a troll, at least. And he forgave me at magfest for whatever he thinks I've done under my twitter handle.

@Marvin also needs to start distancing himself from that guise.

I hate when I read recent events on the CWCki and get told that "The Man in the Pickle Suit" leaked info.

Thats a meme older than Julay, yet its used unabashedly.

There's a difference between a "meme" and a nickname. Not good enough, lurk more, ESL scum.

In all seriousness though, we still refer to @Marvin as "The Guy in the pickle suit" because that's literally what he's always been known as on the CWCki. I see no reason to just randomly change the name and every instance of "Man in the Pickle Suit" to "Marvin" just because one person doesn't like its association to late 2000s Chris.

dannyfrickenp: Hey Chris, I was just talking to Magi-Chan and he says you need to get to the hospital.
cwcvilledefender: No, I do not Believe That.
dannyfrickenp: He says he's already looked into the future and you're going to go, so there's no point delaying the inevitable.
