A Nigerian Prince scam has been around long enough that anyone should be able to recognize it when they see it - even someone like CWC. So, it really makes me wonder how these people painted it in such a way that made it less obvious.

Here's hoping they face proper justice soon.

Honestly I'm kinda surprised this is the first time someone squeezed Chris for cash like that (if it really is the first time...), considering how well-known he is for his gullibility. (Probly he was saved by people assuming he'd be broke- I'm pretty damn surprised he had that much cash to get took for tbh)

But I'm most surprised some sick fuck would want to sexually assault Chris. Whatever this Ideafag character did must be pretty intense/degenerate/fucked up to be worse than getting Chris to shove busted-up bits of his medallion up his pooper, or shoot all the various fucked up sex videos people talked him into/leaked over the years. Dude sounds like he gives Josef Fritzl a run for his money.

I think part of (if not all) the heinousness of this comes from the means by which idea guy achieved this, by mucking around with chris's perceptions of reality and reshaping them towards his own ends (one would think that chris would bullshit around the stuff IG was saying in order to maintain his fantasy to his liking, considering the lengths he went to do so during the Asperchu wars, but that turned out to not be the case this time)

He tried, but IG was already in too deep. He pretty much set himself up as the Dungeon Master in CWCville, and Chris would say what he was trying to do, and IG would twist it around so it didn't work.

By "nigerian prince", I just mean generic internet catfishing with a financial component. Nothing specific.

Chris is falsely known for his gullibility. Most of the Chris trolling over the years crossed lines of reasonableness, as far as what sort of incredulity Chris should've shown. He was pretty skeptical of much of the trolling, and people pulled out dirty tricks (like meeting him IRL) to get around that.

I think if people you know IRL are betraying you, they're putting their identities on the line and I think it's unreasonable to judge Chris that harshly for falling for it.

Another aspect of it is sheer perseverance. People just keep spamming Chris with nonsense emails. Even if he's super accurate at filtering out the dipshits, like 99% accurate, 99% of 5000 attempts is still 50 attempts that get by his screening. As we've seen in the Kingsnake thread, he pretty much is super good at filtering out the bullshit, because none of these emails ever amount to anything. We're seeing failed trolling attempts, because Chris manages to ignore them. (Though now null's managing Chris' new email. And dipshits are still sending emails there.)

If people are offering him money, he still has to read some of the emails, and that means an avenue for that 1% to get in.

Chris a dumbass and believes dumb shit sometimes, but honestly, we left the range of "reasonable" years ago. As early as Ivy. (In fact, Chris had Barb verify Ivy for him. Ivy wasn't Chris' fuckup.)

Can't say for sure since I don't know Chris IRL, but yeah, he doesn't seem trans. He never really gave any indication that he was experiencing real gender dysphoria. Chris is fucked in the head. He's also very strange. But it's pretty shallow and not very scientific to disregard Chris' potential to be transgender based on those things.

Mental illness causes people to do strange things. And there's no rule that says one person can't have multiple mental illnesses, or have one mental illness obscure another mental illness. In fact, it's usually the opposite, people frequently have several comorbid mental illnesses fucking their lives up.

So in this case: Chris might be trans and autistic and crazy. To a layman, the most obvious issues are that he's fucking bonkers, but that doesn't mean the transgenderism isn't real. It's not even particularly "likely" that one interpretation is more correct than the other, because the bulk of the evidence is out of our hands.

The only person qualified to determine that is a doctor who talks to Chris IRL. (Well, if I had any confidence left in psychiatry left, which I don't...)

There were several indications.

Since Chris was a child, he's always talked about how his autism doctors always pointed out how he's much more likely to befriend women than men. He's more compatible with them. And he always rambled on about how guys should play with girl toys to learn about the opposite sex.

(Of course, there's also perfectly legitimate alternative explanations to these things. But I wouldn't say there's "no indication".)

Chris is also deeply bothered by his own genitalia. He fashioned up a device to hide them so he wouldn't have to see them. He also was so bothered by the fact that he didn't have a vagina, that he sliced open his perineum one night.

That's pretty significant because that proves Chris has gender issues on some level. Now is that gender dysphoria or not? You'd need to ask Chris' shrink.

Yeah that was mean. But in the end (like with 99% of the other shit with Chris) it was Chris himself who decided to film himself shoving dried bits of Crayola Model Magic up his butthole. Hacking Chris' PSN or whatever is bad (and presumably criminal) , but Chris could easily have done what the rest of us would do if someone hacked your PSN account then made crazy demands, and just said "fuck it. Keep the account; I'll start a new one", or gone to the PSN admins, or just ignored Bluespike's demands or a thousand other sensible alternatives.

Bluespike was a mean kid, but kids are often mean. Chris was an adult, who insists he's responsible for his own life, so to me, that shit's entirely on him.
